Overall this is a disappointing product. Installation was easy but be prepared to wing it since there are no included instructions. We installed ours with the sticky tape and included nail-in clips. The cord after the last light is a good length, about 20' long. Be sure to plan out which direction you want to install the lights, as the LEDs are a strip with green on one side and red on the other. The color closest to the wall will be dominant and visible in every other color. More on that later. The remote allows basic features, on/off, timers, and a few single-color choices. If you want to create custom colors or effects you'll need the app and will have to create an account. The app seems 'cheap' and is non-intuitive, in addition to providing access to your email and phone which seems sketchy. There's a QR code on the back of the remote to download it. The light colors are incredibly disappointing. Only three colors can create a solid colorwash on the house: red, green, and blue. Every other color has visible bands of the red, green, or blue which makes every other color look the same. There is no white so if you want white, stop reading now and go buy different lights. My lights are installed with the red closest to the wall, so every color other than red, green, or blue just looks pinkish. ... show more

The lights have a nice visual appeal and offer a nice addition to any setting and they're convenient for various occasions. However, their usability fall short due to Connectivity Issues, a lack of instructions, and the constant operational failures of advanced features like voice control, timer settings, and other functionalities. For the cost would like for them to have included an extension cord to use if needed. Instead of having to order one. PROS: 1. Attractive and Beautiful colors for both daily/year-round use and festive ambiance lighting 2. Easy installation CONS: 1. No Instructions 2. CONNECTIVITY ISSUES - Remote functionality limited by proximity to the hub and Requires multiple button presses for basic features 3. FEATURE FAILURES: The advertised features like (Dancing lights, Custom Scenes, Scheduling, Timer, Music Sync, Voice Control) won't connect and fail to work 4.     • Easy to Install and Very Bright

We've had our eyes on the permanent "Christmas" lights for a few years, but the cost for the installation and all was just way out of budget, so when these showed up on Amazon I was highly intrigued. We started with a smaller strand (25 ft.) to test them out on the part of the house that is garage and make sure they were what we were looking for. They install so simply it feels like you are doing it wrong. A few tips we learned along the way: - If your surface is at all textured, the adhesive will not stick well so use some kind of tack nail to hold them in place. - Be sure to clean the surface of your eaves (or wherever you install them) well before sticking. We used isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle and a few microfiber towels to clean as we went and then gave it a minute to dry before sticking the lights. - Follow the instructions when it says to hold it for seven seconds, it really makes a huge difference. - Once the adhesive has adhered, it is STUCK. You'll need something to help you pry it off. But, if you do, there are extra adhesive pads and you can replace them easily. - Plug them in before you put them up. We messed up and when we added more, one of the longer sets, the second half stopped about halfway through. We had no trouble returning it, but we had to first remove them from the house and it took a bit of time and some elbow grease to get them down. The second set works like a dream and all of it hooks together to make one continuous line. Total we have 150 ft of this lighting installed on the front of the house and it's plenty bright, fun to change and play with, and really adds a lot to our holiday display. It will be fun to light them on other holidays with all kinds of lights, or turn them on in white if we need lighting in the front yard for anything because they provide a lot of illumination. Almost a month to get and like other reviews does not really have a "White" color. Im using for other celebrations like Easter so pinkish works. But remember it takes way too long to get.
