  • Love it!
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 19.2’ L × 9.84’ W × 6.6’ H
Best purchase I have made on Amazon! Easy to assemble, good and sturdy, plenty of room for my flock to play and eat. Has withstood ice storms, snow and all other weather. Even withstood a thunderstorm dropping a trampoline on it, with only one minor bend. Only negative is the roof tarp. You would be hard pressed to find a more flimsy tarp. But that’s easily fixed by buying a higher quality tarp and replacing it. ... show more

  • Great run, easy instructions, lots of space!
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 13.2’ L × 9.84’ W × 6.6’ H
I'm beyond happy I ordered this run! It was pretty easy to put together. The instructions are easy to follow. All pieces were included and in perfect condition. It took about a hour and half to put up frame and we was taking our time, as our pet turkeys were helping us😊 I took a whole day to put on the wire. I wanted it tight and perfect so it wouldn't look wavy looking or saggy looking so I took my time. It turned out perfect! I even had alot of the chicken wire left! I love how much space there is. I love the gate and the overall look of this run! The tarp provides shade. It is definately not predator proof. But, it keeps my pet turkeys safe during the day and I lock them safely in our attached barn at night. This is a great spacious animal run, that looks great. I'm beyond happy with this! ... show more

  • Works for my rabbits
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 19.2’ L × 9.84’ W × 6.6’ H
I usually rate a 5 or a 1 star, but this one was a little more complicated. I bought this for rabbits, so we could have them run around instead of being in individual hutches. I built my own door out of 2x4's as the one it comes with has large gaps. It was easy and cheap. Just build a door frame with 2x4s, attach it to the metal pipe using u-bolts, measure what you end up with and build a quick door to fit that. The wire it comes with is laughable. I used it on the roof so hawks & owls couldn't get in but I put heavier gauge 1x1 wire around the walls & floor and fastened that with steel zip ties I bought on amazon. The frame goes together EASY. An hour or two depending on how drunk you are. But I probably spent a week on the wire part. The wire I bought is stiff, you're doing a lot of awkward kneeling, and it's very tedious. Had I used the wire that came with it, it would have gone a lot faster. But that wire won't keep your animals in or your predators out. I could probably chew through it myself. The cover is stupid. I bought a few dog houses and put them in there for shelter. Do not attempt to cover this. The weight of a good snowstorm or rainstorm or windstorm on the cover may collapse the frame. Doghouses work for my rabbits. You need more than one. If I were using it for chickens, I'd probably buy a cheap pre-made coupe and assemble this contraption around it. This is a run for small animals. It is not a shelter and cannot be converted to one unless you're building your own frame which would defeat the purpose of buying it. ... show more

  • This is a grate Chicken run for the money
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 19.2’ L × 9.84’ W × 6.6’ H
Easy instructions. Easy to assemble the frame. Putting the chicken wire is very time consuming. I recommend using stainless steel tie wraps. The tie wraps that come with the kit are very weak. Overall I am well pleased with my purchase.

  • Having all the parts would be nice.
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 19.2’ L × 9.84’ W × 6.6’ H
We bought one, all parts were there, went together well, so we bought another.. Only missing one critical part.

  • Works Well
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 19.2’ L × 9.84’ W × 6.6’ H
If you are looking for a chicken run on a budget this works well. Easy set up. Poles snap all together like a tent just need to use screw driver and stuff for door but went up fast.

  • Do no buy this!
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 13.2’ L × 9.84’ W × 6.6’ H
The *frame* is easy to put together but adding the chicken wire and zip ties is extremely difficult, inefficient, and time intensive if you actually care about it keeping predators out and how it looks. It is very cheap looking and the door is very flimsy, cheap as well. We just finished setting ours up and I know the door will be an issue as there are gaps between the walls and the door. Chicken wire sticks out all over the place and we have scratches all over even though it’s only been up for a few hours. Tarp rips and is very poor quality. Stakes are absolutely useless, go buy different ones while you’re buying more zip ties since they don’t give you enough. This may have been my worst purchase maybe ever but didn’t feel like paying $90 to ship it back. ... show more

  • Eight months and still pleased with run
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 19.2’ L × 9.84’ W × 6.6’ H
November 2024. Update. A predator, possibly a raccoon or a bobcat (we see one out back) breached the run between the gate and that opening. We solved the problem by adding one more Butterfly latch to the gate about 18 inches up. We found the butterfly latch online at at gate replacement parts store. Had we added this in the beginning it would have saved 3 of my sweet chickens! We purchased the large run with the 1.26 stronger frame to use as a chicken run. We never planned on using the chicken wire so we wrapped every inch of frame with black hardware cloth. This absolutely strengthend the frame. Wrapping the frame was a LOT of work but has really paid off. We let the cloth flow past the ground about 6 -8 inches and grass and roots have now grown over frame making it almost predator proof. We anchored some of the wire to the ground but honestly just stepping on the hardware cloth and pressing it into the frame was probably enough. We've had no predators breach this run and we do have nightly visits from raccoons to our bird feeders. Eventually I did stake some iron rods beside the door frame for fear predators could easily pass through this gap. The door was very difficult for my husband to make fit but since he's no carpenter we've made do or I would prefer some type of solid door. I do like the idea of filling the door gaps with pool noodles as one reviewer did. It might not stop large raccoons from entering but it's worth a try and would certainly keep chickens inside even though none of mine have ever escaped. I'm still very happy with this run and would buy again EVEN though I hate the thought of covering another run with hardware cloth. It was not easy! ... show more
