  • 0 Risk of stepping on a razor sharp Lego in the middle of the night with this game
Platform: Xbox One
My five and eight year old love this game, lets them be creative without the risk of having to step on a Lego in the middle of the night.

  • Has potential.
Platform: Xbox One
So far this game has been ok. Purchased for my 11 tear old who loves Minecraft. You can build things and create your character. No fighting. It’s a little hard navigating. We can’t figure out how to remove things without taking out walls, and then u have to replace the section that was accidentally removed with pieces that aren’t the same color. Will be playing this more and try to figure out what it is we are missing. So far it’s pretty basic. ... show more

  • Not as good as the other Lego Games
Platform: Xbox One
I got this game for my kids. Usually they are glued to the Lego games for at least a couple of weeks after purchasing. This one they played for a couple hours and were done with it. I played it for a while (granted I am in my 40s), I agree with my kids in that compared to the other Lego games it just wasn't as good. My advice is consider some other Lego games like Lego City Undercover, or any Lego Marvel or Lego Star Wars game instead of this one. ... show more

  • A great alternative to Minecraft!
Platform: Xbox One
This is a really good game with great game play. I play this with my 10 year old daughter and we both love it. If your kids like Minecraft they will love this game for sure. It can take a bit to get use to the controls, but once you do it is so much fun. The game does tend to get a bit laggy from time to time, which is my only real gripe. ... show more

  • Fun game, if they fix the glitches
Platform: Xbox One
I was so excited for this game, and I preordered it. However, as many other reviewers have noted, it is very glitchy. I haven't played it for about a month, so maybe they've updated it. However, last I played, there was significant lag - I'd be walking, and the horizon in front would be all black, and I'd have to turn around, face the opposite way for a few seconds, then turn around again and hope that the game had rendered. Discovering items is fun, but tedious. Pointing at every single grass clump, tree, etc. gets old quick. However, it's necessary if you want diversity in whatever you build. I like to build towns/farms, so diversity in trees is key - otherwise it looks too mundane. I also wish they had an easier way of transferring blueprints from online to the Xbox One. I see awesome ideas for buildings but don't know how to install them in the game, if it's possible. That may not be the game's fault, it could be mine. Overall, a fun game - if you have time to put into it. It's similar to Minecraft in that regard, as it's very open-ended and you can choose what you want to do (explore, build, fight MOBs, etc.) ... show more

  • Fun and Creative
Platform: Xbox One
It's a good game for the family. Does have a few glitches and takes a while to load each time. This is a great mix of Lego and Minecraft that allows and encourages creativity from the player.

  • Really fun, but..
Platform: Xbox One
I got this for my nephew for Christmas, so I bought it for myself to try first so I'd know if he would like it (he's 6). He and I both love it but in order to get to level 3 you have the option to play one of 2 maps, both of which you do have to pay for. Don't get me wrong, the monster pack was only 3 bucks but still, other Lego games don't require payment for anything, that's what makes them so wholesome. ... show more

Platform: Xbox One
Once you're in the game it's fun. But there is LONG load time and game tends to crash at inconvenient times. If your child likes Legos and Minecraft, they'll love it. BUT be ready for the crying when the game crashes and their build isn't saved.
