Yes I’m adult who plays with legos and yes this was very fun! I love a challenge and I found this one to not be too hard but I was still entertained the whole time! The detail and quality of legos cannot be matched with off brand designs. If you’re on the fence I’d say go for it!

I've had so much fun with my now 7 year old grandson, building both the conventional/traditional Lego devices, but also we've done some large Technic devices (1,500 piece sized) and love those too. But of all the Lego building sets we've purchased (probably 40-50), this was my Grandson's favorite. So often the larger sized traditional sets (my Grandson calls them "dotters") can quite easily come apart just with a bump. This one is really quite solid. My kids love the Lego star wars sets. This one is by far their favorite. It gets played with all of the time. I wish it came with more characters though.

My son bought this ship, and absolutely loves it. A few small engineering problems: 1. The front landing gear is to far aft/rear. Pushing down on the front of the ship causes it to tilt downward. 2. The secrete cargo compartment does not have a stop when pushing it closed. So it goes beyond the closed position… and gets stuck.
