I have many Lego sets, and by far the bonsai tree is my favorite. I like the fact you can choose between green and pink with white. You can position the frogs and flowers how you want so it's unique to you. You're only limited by your imagination, which is how Legos originally was. As the picture shows, I got two sets and put them with the Tranquil Garden set. I put them in front of my meditation room for a little smile before relaxing. Can't help it with these. Some of the leaves were a little hard to put on, but if you wiggle them slowly, they go. Same with the frogs. Listen for the pop. I liked the fact that it wasn't that hard to put together. On a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being hard, I would say about a 2 to 3. There were some challenges, but a little figuring usually got it taken care of. Book ink made it hard to see the piece you're supposed to use, trying to find a small piece among all the pieces. Stuff like that. Over all though, the building experience was a joy, and I would recommend this set to anyone who likes Legos that you can display. I built it in under a day. ... show more

The Lego Bonsai Tree set was an joy to build. It's not overly challenging, making it good for both beginners and experienced Lego enthusiasts alike. I particularly enjoyed using some of these extras to create a mini-figure representation of myself sitting under the tree, adding a personal touch to the display. I wish there was more bonsai leaf Legos though. The finished product looks cute on display, with its intricate details and realistic appearance. It's a wonderful addition to any Lego collection and a great conversation starter. Whether you're into Lego or bonsai trees (or both!), this set is highly recommended for its creativity, quality, and overall enjoyment. My only note is it is such a pain in the butt to move, with the smallest pieces of "sand" always go everywhere.
