This plastic sheeting is invaluable for protecting my garden beds and extending my growing season. The plastic is thicker and should hold up for at least a few years being out and exposed to the elements. The 8x25 foot size is perfect for covering a pallet garden where I grow greens. Using rebar and pvc pipe I created a short hoop house frame to go over the top and this plastic gets clipped on with some clips. I weigh the ends down with some 2x4 s that are easy to remove so I can pull the plastic back for harvest. This allows me to start planting earlier and continue harvesting into winter. The plastic helps maintain moisture and keep the temperatures warmer. Great product. I am using this to extend growing time on raised beds. It is a good middleweight plastic, as others have said, not too heavy, but not too light, just make sure the plants are sturdy or something else bears the weight for them, the plastic has enough weight to deform or hurt plants if just put over them. ... show more
