I have been looking for a pair of shorts that fit in the waist, crotch, and length for nearly 5 years. All the shirts I’ve tried have had a mis matched combination of the above areas of comfort. I always end up with a waist too wide to get the length I need in the crotch and inseam. Shorts that fit in the waist always end up short in the crotch and inseam. These shorts on the other hand were actually near perfect. They do seem to run small as I have a 32” waist and the size 34 fit perfect. My only minor complaint is I would prefer the cleaver phone pocket was on the left cargo pocket rather than the right. Net impact to rating: zero. I carry way to much stuff in my pockets so these give me lots of room. I bought a pair at a retail store Many, many, many years ago and wore them so much the material became compromised strength wise. These one feel like they are heavier material than the ones I had before.

Great fabric. So comfortable and it moves with you. Flexible and it dries fast if it gets wet. Velcro close pockets keep everything in place. LOVE these and ended up getting several different colors. Shorts are good quality, look nice and come with a belt, all for a reasonable price. They run very small. Like I had to get 2 sizes bigger than any pair of pants or shorts that I own. Nothing in my closet is over a 38 waist, had to get these in 42. Can't speak for the smaller sizes but if you are around 38, you will want at least 1-2 sizes larger. ... show more

I normally wear size 36 waist in everything. After reading a review that said these run small I ordered one size bigger at 38. It’s a good thing I did because size 38 fits perfect. A size 36 would’ve definitely been too small. Other than that they’re great shorts for the price.

I have two pair of these and they have held up for about two years now. They are starting to fade, but I think that’s my wife’s fault. I now wash them on delicate and will try to get another two years out of them. The pockets are just about perfect.
