These are very comfortable with an elastic waste. They look like linen and are pretty thin but are not see through. The only stretchy part is the waste. The legs are not stretchy but these shorts are cut well so you don't need any stretch. They are airy airy and comfortable feeling. Great for summer days. I had purchased these shorts thinking that I could use them for around the house and yard in the summer. However, they are very lightweight, and their appearance seems more like something you wouldn't leave the house in. I personally would only use them for sleeping or lounging, but wouldn't be seen outside in them. Since I didn't have a need, I gave them to my teen son and he uses them as sleep shorts and is quite happy with them. They're 100% cotton with a linen look but smooth texture. They have pockets on both hips as well as back patch pockets. And there's a drawstring if you want to tighten the elastic waist even further. They come above the knee when wearing. The washing instructions were printed so lightly on the tag that they're pretty much unreadable, and since they're only used to sleep in, I just wash on cool or warm water and machine dry low. They come out very wrinkly, so if you want to use them for wear outside of the house, you would have to iron them. These are just okay shorts, but not worth the price. ... show more

These are very comfortable and made of a lightweight and stretchy material that fit me just fine. I like the pockets along the sides of the legs, it doesn't feel like my phone will fall out at any moment. It did come with some loose threads hanging from the bottom, so I think QC can be a little better. But overall, good for casual wearing. ... show more

These are the weirdest shorts. They run big and are very thin - like see-through thin. I don't know who's wearing these shorts and with what (if anything) underneath, but they were a no-go for all the men in my house. They just feel cheap. Hard pass.

These shorts are made from light (very light) material and have OK stitching. They are certainly comfortable, especially during the current heat wave. They look great straight out of the package. I wore them for a day, ran them through the wash, and out them back on. They don’t look nearly as great anymore. As expected, the material wrinkled, we all expect cotton to do that. The material didn’t shrink as bad as many, so yay there. The fail is the stitching/seams. Lot’s of loose threads appeared. I doubt these shorts can withstand many washings. Also - the cord is trash. luckily it can be pulled out and discarded. About an inch of each end of the cord unraveled in th ewash. ... show more
