As a big AND tall guy I ran into the same issue I always do: Shorts that aren’t exactly the waist they claim to be in addition to being smaller in the rear and thighs. I’m 6’6 and 350lbs with tree trunks for legs. While these “fit” I went with a larger size for more room.. and of course the inseam and thighs along with the “rear” measurements are a little tight. That being said.. I realize I’m a big guy.. it’s just that if these were pants. They would have fit.. but shorts tend to have a taper for some reason. So buy a few sizes up (1-3 inches above your measurements) for these shorts. I’m not too unhappy as they did fit, albeit tighter than I wanted AND when I lose weight they’ll fit perfectly. But I’d say they are slightly undersized so order a size or two up if you have a big “dump truck” and tree trunk thighs like myself. The material is alright.. a little bit of fraying on the loops after one wear.. but nothing like rips occurring yet.. time will tell.. but not terribly bad shorts for the price.
