I liked the fit and design, but after 4th washing, a belt loop became detached at the bottom. I had only worn them 4 times, and never pulled on the belt loops. The only way I could imagine this happening would be poor stitching. I own several of these shorts as I've lost weight over the past couple of years, YEA! I've never had a problem before. As a big AND tall guy I ran into the same issue I always do: Shorts that aren’t exactly the waist they claim to be in addition to being smaller in the rear and thighs. I’m 6’6 and 350lbs with tree trunks for legs. While these “fit” I went with a larger size for more room.. and of course the inseam and thighs along with the “rear” measurements are a little tight. That being said.. I realize I’m a big guy.. it’s just that if these were pants. They would have fit.. but shorts tend to have a taper for some reason. So buy a few sizes up (1-3 inches above your measurements) for these shorts. I’m not too unhappy as they did fit, albeit tighter than I wanted AND when I lose weight they’ll fit perfectly. But I’d say they are slightly undersized so order a size or two up if you have a big “dump truck” and tree trunk thighs like myself. The material is alright.. a little bit of fraying on the loops after one wear.. but nothing like rips occurring yet.. time will tell.. but not terribly bad shorts for the price. This is the second pair of belted shorts I have purchased. I like them just fine except for 1 thing. The button hole is so small that the button is nearly impossible to fasten, or unfasten. I snipped the hole to make it easy to use. PROBLEM FIXED! But why should that have to be done?
