I just purchased these crossbars and the install went very easy. I read some reviews on the install being somewhat difficult but I realize that most people don't seem to know what they are doing half the time. Everything fit really well and I used the 1/2, and 5/6 positions (front and rear positions) on my 2018 Explorer.
