    • design flaw - purchase something different
The headlamp every so often decides to blink on and off 3 times (a lot). Instructions say nothing about this "feature" that I can decipher. Imagine it being dark and reading a book and blink, blink, blink. If I'm walking it throws me off balance. Having a dark house I use headlamps mostly inside just to see. This lamp has a dial in the back that is pressure sensitive. So, If I put my head back in a chair, after a small amount of time, (a few seconds) the light comes on, It will also go off this way. I want neither. I use the lamp in bed a night also, so same thing. When it comes on all by it's self, it will also do the 3 blink routine. There are "safety" instruction in English and many many other languages, and for general instructions on how to use it, it's all drawings. I have no idea what the drawings mean. What I do like. It's bright, and the brightness is adjustable. However.....it does not stay where one adjusts it to, the dial is wack!! This headlamp is inferior and poorly designed. I paid $60.00 for this. Definitely returning. I have had a similar one of this brand for many years that has been a jewel in my life, so, I'm pretty disappointed. I'm going to try the one with the slide adjuster in the back which is like my old one. ... show more
