I've been a fan of LED lamps for about fifteen years, since they became widely available and affordable. My oldest one was for my bedside, and it was still in use - until this unit came in and was obviously a far superior replacement. The new lamp offers flexibility on brightness and color temperature, better positioning of the head, and - most important - a remote control. With the old lamp, I had to stretch way across the bed to a bedside table, and manually flip the on/off switch. Now I can put the remote anywhere convenient and control the lamp with it. Going over the remote control is a good way to summarize features of this lamp. I've included a photo of the remote, since the product page lacks one, and also a photo of the page that explains the buttons on the remote. You can refer to those for a complete rundown. For the high points, the top area has a timer button to turn the lamp off after an hour, and the on/off switch. Below that are adjustments for brightness and color temperature, arranged in a circle. In the center of the circle is a button for a preset called "Natural Light Mode", which allows you to get a nice, bright setting without fiddling with anything. The other buttons are mostly for various presets, of which only the Reading Mode preset interested me. It's basically the same as the natural light setting, except not as bright. (I never did figure out what the K button did. It's labeled "Color Temperature Switch", but I can't tell what it switches between, and there's already an adjustment for color temperature that I mentioned earlier.) Assembly was painless, and took about three minutes. You thread together the rods that make up the shaft, and then rotate that to screw it into the base. The base is very stable. It weighs about 4 1/2 pounds (a bit over two kilograms). The power cord has a manual switch on it, which sits on the floor close to the lamp and can be operated with a foot. Please note that there are no other physical switches on the lamp, so you'll lose a lot of functionality if you lose or damage the remote control. LED lamps generally last a long, long time, as my original one has. This one allows me to precisely set the brightness and color temp I want, which makes it an even better fit for my needs.     • Very nice floor lamp
I put this in the corner of our theater room so my wife can read down there next to her chair. Assembly was easy, we love the remote function and different levels of brightness. The cord is nice and long and like the adjustable neck. For the price and purpose, it is perfect for our needs.

I compared several very similar lamps, including a tall, rounded one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D46FD4CC ) and two gooseneck lamps (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7PQK9TQ and this one). All three are so similar that they likely were produced at least in part by the same manufacturer. Nevertheless, each is unique in its own way. This gooseneck lamp is a little short. There's only about 48" from the base to the start of the gooseneck. While it wouldn't work well for illuminating a large area, it's perfect for lighting up a desk or a favorite reading spot. The remote control adds an element of convenience, and it has a great array of settings (including about 12 color temperatures). Note that the various buttons on the remote largely just change the color temperature and brightness to preset modes, e.g. the nighttime button emphasizes yellower, dimmer light. The remote sticks nicely to the lamp via magnets. I like this lamp better than the other gooseneck that I tried. In particular, the power cord connects to the base of the lamp instead of the middle as in the other lamp. There's an on/off button on the cord, in case you don't have the remote, which I tend to press with my toes. It's not as good as having a backup control on the lamp itself, but it works. I do wish the weighted base were a bit heavier, but I tend to feel that way about all lamps. Overall, this is a good budget lamp. ... show more

I was looking for a new LED light to use in my home office and found this lamp which appeared to be exactly what I needed. I was surprised at how easy and fast it was to assemble the light. I liked that it had three color variations along with a remote control like my prior LED lamp. I wanted this new lamp since it appeared to be a foot taller than my prior lamp and would be better for covering more area in my office without having to use an overhead light all the time. The nice feature this lamp had that my other one did not have is the foot pedal to be able to turn the light off or on without having to use the remote or touch the correct place on the lamp. I did have one issue with the light getting too warm for my comfort level and I had to change the color of the light and decrease the brightness which took care of the heating issue. Overall, I have to say that this has been a good choice for a multi-purpose LED light. ... show more

    • I love this stylish and adjustable floor lamp. Be careful not to lose the remote control.
I have been searching for a strong LED bulb with a remote control for my old floor lamp for a while. Unfortunately, the typical product is 9W (60W equivalent), which is not bright enough for me. I'm very pleased with this floor lamp, which has all the features I need! It comes with a 15W Gooseneck LED light that allows you to adjust both color warmth and brightness. Additionally, the remote control offers several presets for color and brightness. It is important to note that this model does not have a built-in control panel. So please, be careful not to lose the remote control. Besides the remote, the lamp has a convenient foot switch. I noticed that some smart bulbs can turn on by themselves after a power outage, which is unpleasant if it happens at night, but this lamp doesn't have that issue. The light is a great addition to my bedroom; now I can comfortably work and sleep there. The lamp is easy to assemble, stylish, and simple to adjust. Five stars! ... show more
