After reading reviews and seeing videos, as well as the fact that they are rechargeable and remote controlled we decided they were perfect for what we were looking and needing them for! We were not disappointed. They have a timer on them so that you can limit the time they are on, which helps with the life of the charge. We also really like the fact that you can adjust the brightness to control the amount of light that they put off. These lights come with two remotes, but you can control both with one remote if you want to use both of them in the same area. The novelty of purchasing a rechargeable light like this went "poof" when turned on. Not all is bad; not all good. PROS: * Safe interior light avoiding potential hazards as with normal non-led candles. * (Probably) best feature in that it can be recharged via USB. * Handy that it has magnetic base to hang upside down if one wants to do so. CONS: * Not orange in color, rather a dull yellow. * Effect is flame-ish, NOT as in the advertised picture. NOT AT ALL like the picture. Need I repeat that? Seriously, in similar pictures of other "flame effect" lights from other Amazon sellers as well as here it is false advertising. Some mocked up sexy flaming lighting appearance. We know such lights are novelty items, but take a pic of the ACTUAL light turned on and let it sell itself. Otherwise, to be blunt: it is lying to the public. Doesn't earn my trust in such sellers. The media could not be loaded. I looked around at a few different options for flame effect lights. I’m glad I went with these because they’re so much better than I expected. They look like actual torches, charge easily, and are brighter than I though they’d be. I added a video which shows the lights, although this is not why I bought them. I’ll be hanging lanterns on either side of a picture of Venice over our bed and then adding the flame lights inside of them. If you’re considering these and wondering about the quality, get them! So...I love fire...in a good way. I am the camp fire master and when ever at friends I am always the fire wrangler. I love fire and candle light. My son and I are taking a cross country drive this summer and I thought it would be nice to have a fake candle light for the dashboard. Well. I received the light without delay. The very first night my son and I tried it out...he turned off the tv and the lights and turned up the music. I got my bongos and for about the next 2 hours we were...according to my 12 year old ..."getting tribal" LOL. We like it...so far so good. It's cheap but ok made and I just wonder how long it will last. If it gets us through July and the trip..I will be happy. The remote is great as well. My only issue is...when falling asleep...I have to remind myself it's not real fire light I am leaving on. Enjoy! ... show more

I'm a fan of the LED flame bulbs. I have them in my porch, a few in my bedroom and one in a lamp in my living room. But these that I'm reviewing now... are awesome. I just charge up the batteries for a few hours and at night I can place them wherever I want. In the picture I have 1 on top of my cat scratch tree. Whenever I decide to relax in my livingroom at night to a movie, I turn these on. It makes me feel like I have a little fire burning in my fireplace that I don't actually have. Each one has their own remote but both remotes will work with either of them. I can stay comfortable on my couch if I want to turn them on/off, change the appearance from flame to solid light or to breathing. I can also dim and brighten both of them, there's only 3 levels of brightness. When I brighten them all the way, they do seem pretty bright. And if I'm watching a movie, I'll dim them all the way down so it doesn't interfere with my tv screen. I love these badboys and I plan on getting a few more for myself, both of my parents and my brother. 😎 *update* I got these for my pops who likes to take his camper out of state to different camp grounds. He absolutely loves them. They are perfect for his camper at night and he gets lots of compliments from other couples at the camp sites. ... show more

I have bought the AC version of this bulb and it’s fantastic. However I use this one for a Halloween pumpkin. The effect is the best. Nice and bright in a very small space. You get the same flame like affect as the AC lightbulb version. However if you would like to use it as a regular bulb, it will do that with a constant Amber light. I seem to get about 20 hours of constant use with it before it needs to be recharged . I think that’s very good. If you use the remote and hit the three hour mode, this will last you three hours a night for a week! The remote is just way too cool with all its options. So if you need flame light for an effect, and don’t want to run an AC outlet to it. You have found what you’re looking for. Happy Halloween 🎃 ... show more
