Everything works as it should. The brakes make some noise, and the Disc gets thrown out of wack pretty easily. An upgraded disc would probably fix this issue. I've been using this all around town to bypass construction this summer. It's been great!

I purchased the the bike during Amazon Prime day and when I unpacked the bike and assembled it, I found rare tire is flat then, I reached out to customer care they send me the new tube after a week, but the problem was not the tube rather it was the spokes in the wheel are pinching the tire. I fixed the tube multiple times but it keeps on getting flat. I am really disappointed with their quality process. I have checked other reviews as well from their website and it is a common problem with their bikes. Apart from that it also has squeaky brakes, I guess breaks are not fine tuned, which is very bad quality checking process. At the time of bike order i have also ordered comfort package seat from their website and unfortunately the seat adjustment is not my size, so I reached out to their customer care and they right away refused to take the return. With this experience I am very very disappointed with Lectirk bikes and I don't recommend anyone to purchase the bikes from them. ... show more

Really disappointed that my bike came with two flat tires and NO instruction manual????? I was able to download a manual off the internet, but the tires really pissed me off!!!! The front tire aired up okay but the back tire had a hole in it! I tried for 3-4 hours trying to patch it as I wanted to ride my new bike!! I ended up having to buy a new tube ($13) just to get it going and I had to go 160 miles away to get that tube as no one in my immediate area sells bike tubes. I called Lectric company, and they said to call you since I bought the bike from Amazon! ... show more

I made the mistake of purchasing this bike. I’ve had it for 3 months now and already it’s starting to fall Apart. On my ride home last week the pedal fell off (see image) causing me to nearly crash on the road. There appears no way to easily reattach it so I’m forced to try glue. After two seasons with the xp 3.0, it is time to write a review. It gets 5 stars because the price makes electric folding bikes available to all. It’s the Everyman bike. At the Jersey shore where I ride, they are ubiquitous and save families from buying $4000 folding Italian bikes for their kids. It’s a treat to ride….if you don’t know much about bicycling. I rented the $4000 Italian version to test out the “little wheel / folding” concept before buying. There is simply no comparison…. The Italian bike was much nicer. But judging by that standard is unreasonable. For $1,000, Lectric has done something pretty remarkable. Lectric is like cold beer… not champagne… not even a fancy microbrew. Don’t be mad when you buy beer and don’t get champagne. Lectric is like buying sheets from Wal Mart. They work fine, but let’s not ask about the thread count. Now some other details: - 45 mile range on the regular battery. Maybe, on speed level 1 with a 120 pound rider and level roads. - computer screen- basic but works - throttle- a little delay, but cannot complain at the price point. - Comfort seat and other add ons- a nice touch and worth it, especially if you get a special offer on them. - derailleur- cheapest available on the market and thus a little sluggish to respond at times when shifting. Unless you are a pro rider, it really doesn’t matter; it shifts just fine. - Foldability and portability- Thoughtfully designed so that you can’t lay it down on sensitive parts. Fits where other bikes don’t. At the same time, 65 pounds is just not that easy to carry around. A typically packed full size piece of luggage gets to that range, and luggage that size is only meant to be wheeled around for a reason. - Lockability and safety- chain it up at the boardwalk with an hundred just like it and don’t fuss too much about it. If the kids abuse it or it gets stolen, at least it’s not $4,000. Lectric makes a hard to defeat lock that mounts easily to the frame. Also a worthwhile add on. - Tires- like other reviewers, I also had a flat tire on the spoke side of the tube, not on the road side as one would expect. A careful inspection of the spokes did not reveal anything sharp or protruding, so the jury is still out on whether the tube (defective?) or rim was the problem. It’s too soon to call the replacement tube a success or failure. - Tire size- wide and stable, perfect for comfort and provides a sense of stability for those that need or prefer it - instruction manual- the bike comes fully assembled and I found it to be pretty intuitive. There are also many YouTube videos for those that need help. I advise that one should stop fussing over the paper and be grateful for the 1k price point. - Shipping / Returns- The policy is shared openly and in advance, and 65 lbs is expensive to move, return, repack, etc. I’m happy with the policy- they couldn’t hit the 1k price point otherwise. - Overall quality- absolutely fabulous for $1000. Not so great side by side with any higher priced competitor. But everything works and the ride is nice. ... show more
