This is one of my favorite purchases of the year. Using it for several ages to practice telling time. You can use the flash cards, clock, and it even works as a game with dry erase parts and dice! So so fun.

Great learning tool. BUT... it's been difficult explaining why the start of an hour says '60' on the clock when the dice and cards both say '00'. Additionally, while realistic, the hour hand shifting ever-further toward the next hour hand has proven confusing. My kid has tried holding the hour hand in place more than once, because he thinks he's doing something wrong. It would have been cool if the hour hand clicked immediately forward once it reached the 60-minute mark for the next hour. Lastly, there are 2 dice for the hour rolls, so you're left choosing between one of the two each time you roll. I'd still highly recommend this purchase to anyone looking to teach their kid to tell time. Not only is it effective, but it presents like a game, and seems like it could take quite a bit of playful abuse without breaking. ... show more

Telling analog time is becoming a thing of the past sadly, but I still believe it is something everyone should know. I purchased this for my 6 year old to learn to tell time. We are a homeschool family and this has been a great addition to our homeschool, to make things more engaging and fun. I have not used the dice part of it yet, but everything else is invaluable.
