As an elementary teacher, I knew what to do with my 1st grade when schools were shut down. I also have a 3 year old but did not have great ideas for her. I set her up for one of those apps that are advertised HEAVILY and quickly realized that it was little more than more screen time. I have always LOVED Learning Resources products for my classroom so when I found this I knew it would be good. She LOVES it. The animals are so much fun for her to sort and count. She loves to play with the peg board barn. The letter and number cards are large and sturdy. My only issue is that I would LOVE to have more shape pegs for the barn. I absolutely love this kit. My son loved this so much. It is a great resource for colors, animals, letters, and numbers. The booklet with ideas is extremely helpful for playtime with the little ones. As a homeschooler, I am always looking for interactive resources for my children to learn through play and this was an excellent mix of learning and fun. Great for a 2 year old! My son does not go to daycare so we purchased this item to do "learning time" at home and he loves it! He would rather play with this than any of his other toys. Its the perfect size for his little hands but not too small that you will lose everything. The box is a breat too because it has a velcro dot on the inside to store everything nicely. ... show more

    • Great tool but disappointed
It’s a great tool for learning with a toddler, but I’m a little disappointed that the board had numbers on both sides instead of colors on one side. That’s the only complaint I have! My daughter loves it!

This is my toddler’s favorite thing. Perfect for stay at home parents or those looking for something to do together. It’s a great bundle that comes with a little booklet for many different ways to interact with it. Sometimes I run out of ideas and this was great to add some flair and structure to my day.     • Very durable!
This was a great investment for my 2 year old granddaughter! She loves every component of it. Everything in this kit is very, very durable including the alphabet and number cards! The only thing that bothered her a little was that the colors of the animals to sort and count are not the exact colors on the sorting card ( the blue and purple only), but she adjusted to it quickly! I like the fact that the animals can be sorted different ways (by color and by animal). Also, the pegs on the pegboard can be sorted by color and shape also. Thanks! ... show more
