I haven't used these yet, they just arrived but I'm excited to try them out. I will say however the write up is a bit deceiving. It says 2-pw but it doesn't include the 2 or 3 clubs. Played golf for many years before starting back recently. Always have hit my driver and fairway woods well but struggled with irons to the point that I lost the joy of playing. No consistency from round to round. Once playing again, I decided to go with the Lazarus iron-woods and have played one round with them and can already tell, the drive to play is back. Picked up 10-15 yards of distance, feel much more confident and was surprised with the accuracy I had just after one round. If you struggle with irons like I do, this is the way to go. The quality is great, they seem durable and well made, and the shipping was fast. Bought 30 dollars worth of covers separately to protect them in the bag. Highly satisfied! ... show more

Believe it or not, this is a US based company. They're really trying to make quality golf gear that doesn't break the bank. Yes, it is imported but shipping and customer service is in the US. They're very responsive to emails and super helpful. I got the 4 hybrid and it's really nice to hit. Good swing weight, solid feel. It's more of a 'thwhack' sound than a 'ting'. I've hit several different brands of hybrids and they all sound a little different, its really just a matter of preference. You can tell when you hit it well or not so feedback is good. I own a mix of Lazrus clubs and really enjoy hitting them all. You don't need to spend a ton on brands the pros use just to get something well made. ... show more

As I have aged (Now 70), I can no longer strike my irons downward in compression very well. So I have gone to a more sweeping swing with small to no divot. Hitting my existing irons in this manner has been inconsistent. When I received these hybrid irons, I took them to the grass range that afternoon, since I was scheduled to play 18 holes the next day. Almost immediately, every shot was like what I used to do when I was younger with traditional irons. I am also hitting these a little longer, so I am having to figure my distances to determine the correct club, but that is a good problem. I am very pleased with these clubs, and I would recommend them. Also, price was very reasonable. I also purchased the 3 hybrid to complete the iron set, and that has also performed equally well. This club seems to be an excellent value for the money. First off... I'm not a great golfer, pretty average - low 20's handicap.. but slowly improving my game by the round. My current bag setup consists of Cobra Amp-D irons (5-PW) which I cant abandon, a couple high lofted wedges & Callaway Mavrik Max Driver/3wood/4H. I was looking for a club that can bridge the gap between my Driver & 3W/4H; mostly for those long par 4/5's so I can get more distance on approach & unfavorable lies. Or even for longer par 3's 4H is too short. The club looks great, feels great, and only downfall is the grip which you can definitely get by with but could be better. I'll replace that with my normal Golf pride tour wrap anyways. Spent some range time with it so far and the club seems to play really solid. Nice straight/low shots all falling about 20-30 yards short of my Driver.. which is right were I wanted this club to fit in. The feel (at least to a golfer of my skill level) isn't much different from my Callaway Hybrid that is triple the price of this. Can't wait to get it out on the course for the true test, but just based on range time I've committed to keeping it. If you're on a budget, these clubs seem like they will perform just fine. ... show more
