Disclaimer: I only breastfed for a little over two months. My baby had a hard time latching, and with my husband being deployed for a month just after she was barely a month old, pumping and feeding began to be too much of a time toll on me. Having said that, while I was breastfeeding, my baby had a hard time latching. It led to me getting incredibly swollen breasts as my milk came in, and almost impossible to drain. They were so painful, and after awhile, I could tell as I was starting to get a clogged duct. I never made it to the point of having huge large lumps that protrude from my skin as I’ve seen in some pictures, but I definitely had painful lumps whenever I went too long from pumping, or something. The lactation consultant recommended two minutes of massaging each breast before feeding/pumping to help the let down process and getting your milk flowing. As what was basically a single mom trying to do it all just after giving birth, those 4-5min trying to massage my breasts before pumping for 15-20min, then giving the baby the bottle for 20min or so… breastfeeding became too much. BUT, this little vibration tool saved me so much time that I could stick it in my pumping bra or move it around as I was watching tv or something during pumping. It DEFINITELY helped getting my milk to flow and I noticed a considerable difference in the amount coming out during the same allotted time with and without the massager. I only bought one during a sale since I was trying to save money and not purchase a million things. When you’re in pain and struggling, you’ll just about purchase any and everything. I had a hard time selecting which one to get, and what was cost effect, and if I needed two… if you have the money, I guess two would be even easier, but personally one worked just fine for me. I’d switch between each breast at the halfway mark, or put it on the area of breast that felt knotted to help get everything out. A heating pad was something I already had, and with the battery life reviews of the massagers with heat, I felt those for the price were unnecessary. I still agree with that first assumption. The heating pad, when needed, which wasn’t very often as I began to get the hang of everything, does the job just fine. I was hesitant buying this massager because I was unsure it would work. For any breastfeeding or pumping mamas this little gadget is a must. It clears out any clogged ducts to ensure all milk comes out. I cannot pump without it. I highly recommend this product.

I have the fortunate “problem” of producing a lot of breast milk, and my breasts are often engorged. I’ve been exclusively pumping for 11 days, and this little massager has been a huge help. I use it on the lowest setting, and it feels really good. It charges incredibly quick- 30 minutes, and I like the locking feature that will ensure it will not come on until you unlock it. I bought the heating one. It’s warm enough and nice. The vibration options are good and the strength is decent. The buttons are located poorly. Bad design. If you want to adjust the device while it’s on your breast and move it or apply a little pressure, you hit the buttons often and subsequently change the mode or heat level. Definitely helped me a ton during my breastfeeding/pumping journey. The battery life is great and all the different massage options were great. It helped me work through knots, helped with let downs and help relieve tight/sore boobs. Highly recommend to any mama out there.

I got this as it had such high reviews in lieu of the Frida one that I had with my first child. The unit is soft, comfortable, and portable. For me, the unit seems very slow to heat up. The vibration feels nice, but it is incredibly loud. I would not be able to use this while working and taking meetings. The size and shape makes it very obvious it’s in your bra through the shirt. Also, the buttons are very easily pressed, so when I am moving the unit around in my bra, I constantly have to click the buttons to get back to my preferred settings. I wish I had stuck with the massager that I knew, but I guess I will make do with this one. As for value for money, I would go with another item. Its drawbacks and only being one unit, makes it not worth the money. ... show more

I was having an issue where one side just didn’t want to let the milk go. Using this with the warmer before and during pumping got it to let down and fully empty which is amazing because I was afraid of getting mastitis. The pointed end is great for working on a particular duct and the heat isn’t crazy high so I don’t have to worry about burning myself accidentally while being enough to provide some relief. I haven’t found any of the different vibration patterns to really help one way or another, really they all seem to do the same thing. The battery life is actually really good. I’ve been able to use it for a couple days on a single charge. The texture of the device is also very soft so it slides over the skin nicely without feeling like it’s pulling on the skin.
