I ordered this unit when a sudden cold snap was forecast for my area of Florida. I needed to protect a hydroponics system and several large potted tropical plants. The expandable frame went up easily and locked securely. Trying to install the cover was difficult with the frame fully extended. We unlocked the frame., installed the cover and then fully extended the frame and locked. I gave it 4 stars because of the difficulty in installing the cover based on its instructions and one of the attachment points for the tie-down has come loose. It appears that the sticking was faulty. The highpoint for this unit is that it has withstood 30+ miles per hour winds. I did replace the hold down stakes with muck longer tent stakes with 2 in each foot. Overall, would recommend this item and am actually looking at a larger one for next winter. ****Update***** While the it is still standing, it has ripped along the frontbseams near the bottom and the anchor attachment point ripped off the left rear corner. It will be taken down for the season in the next couple of weeks as we get beyond frost here in Florida. I will attempt repairs and update on that. I haven't been able to get an answer from the company about getting a replacement cover. ... show more

Bought this in February and finally assembled it yesterday, 4-9-22. Turns out my fears disappeared with a smooth assembly which only took me an hour and 1/2. Not bad for an old woman with bad eyesight. The major issue was reading the microscopic-size font in the instructions. I needed both glasses and a magnifying glass. I recommend sorting and counting all the connectors into labeled bowls or containers ahead of time. I also wrote numbers on sticky labels and put them on the unopened pole packages in the box. I did this step in February. I assembled it in my living room as I planned. It will be easy to separate the connections into two halves and the top roof (see red arrows) to get through the door onto my deck. I am concerned about the wind since I will need to rely on the plants inside to hold it down. My rooted fig cuttings will go inside. The 9th shelf was a mystery until I saw the image in the description with tools hanging from it. I would suggest the manufacturer stick a few more clips in the packaging. There are 24 clips and 8 shelves for plants. That leaves only 3 clips per shelf. Two per shelf would not be secure; thus, that leaves no clips for the 9th shelf. I will probably get some heavy duty wire and connect shelf #9 that way. Depending on how this greenhouse holds up, I may change my rating, but for now, it's 3-4 stars. ... show more

Space saver Wheels are a game changer Easy to set up Heat matt's work great insude Maintains temperature Holds multiple seed trays per shelf Not an eye soar Works well with grow lights (hanging and free standing) I recommend this size as opposed to the next size up, even if you need two. I saw both in a store. Unless everything is on the same growing cycle, the next size up does not allow flexibility with multiple seed types and multiple opening and closing letting heat out. There is also a lot of wasted open space and really dose not hold more. It just allows you to walk in. Which is no different than standing in front of the medium size one. The wheels are great for when want to move seedlings to more direct and natural light. If you put it outside, make sure you anchor it. I don't recommend for long term outdoors. ... show more

I put this together myself. I assure you that is an amazing feat! It was easy; no screws or hammering necessary. It's sturdy too. Already we have our spring seedlings on the shelves. This unit was very easy for one person to assemble. The shelves are wire and appear to be adequately strong for three 36 cell seed starting trays on each shelf. The disappointing feature are the wheels. The first time I tried to move the shelf on a ceramic tile floor, three of the four wheels broke through the plastic housing holding them to the cart. The wheel housings broke within the first foot of movement. No obvious way to repair them. The shelf was inexpensive so I'm not entirely surprised that it broke.
