I did my first session. It comes with googles and shaver.It has cooling mode which i like the most. Works great, game changer. I did on my legs it grows alot lesser hair then before. It so easy to use, worth to buy. Saved my money then going somewhere else to do and pay every sessions.

I got this for my wife who requested an IPL. She's completed a treatment cycle and is seeing reduced hair growth. The device itself is fairly easy to work. It takes a bit of fidgeting with the buttons to get the settings right and the manual doesn't exactly cover all of it (watch out for the auto flash setting!). The cooling plate is really nice and gets cold fast. The device is fairly easy to hold but I wish it had an angled head like some of the more expensive name brand devices. Protective eyewear is an absolute must for using this thing, but the provided glasses are so dark you can barely see where you're placing the device. You might consider picking up a pair of nicer protective eyewear when buying this. Hopefully there's a better balance of lense darkness and just seeing anything. Overall I think this product is a good value compared to some of the more expensive name brand IPL devices out there. ... show more

Before I get too deep into this review, in full disclosure I have not had a chance to use it for the full 8-week cycle yet. However, after a couple of initial uses I have some comments on the ease of use and the product as it is boxed. To start, the product is well packaged with clear labeling, a quick start guide, and a full multilingual instruction manual. The quick start guide isn't translated into the best English, so if I'm honest I was a little skeptical about the product overall. Once I opened the manual, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the full manual had (mostly) decent English in the translation and the instructions were very clear. Before I get into the IPL itself, let me pause a second to address the included razor and safety glasses. The razor is approximately the equivalent of the cheap disposable razors you can get at the hotel concierge when you forget your own. You know the type - one or two horrible blades that are dull after one short pass. The safety glasses themselves are pretty decent and do a good job covering the eyes. As far as the IPL goes, it is very easy to use. It does need to be used while attached to the power cord, so make sure that you find a place to use it that can accommodate the length of the cord comfortably for the process. Unlike another IPL I've used in the past, you do not have to tell this one to turn on the cooling function and rotating through the different intensities is fairly simple. Having had laser hair removal treatments in the past, I can tell you that the "ice" function is a lovely touch. It definitely soothes as you use the device since the process does generate heat and a touch of skin irritation (which is normal for this kind of procedure). I have fair skin and darker hair, so I'm a good candidate for it. I used it on my legs at the lowest two settings and did not have any immediate skin irritation, and after making sure to apply lotion after use there was not any irritation after 1 hour either. The device cooled off quickly after use and the way the device is packaged makes for easy storage after use. Another good feature of this device is that for the user's safety, it is designed to only fire off while it is touching skin. This is important because you do NOT want it to go off while you are looking at it; even with safety glasses it would be very bad for your eyes. It also counts down 10 seconds before turning off to allow the fan to cool the laser before storage. The only thing I didn't like about this product is that the instructions are not clear as to how you should determine when to move up in intensity from the lowest setting. This would be helpful to have some sort of guide to know when to increase the intensity off of the first setting. I need to use it longer to determine if it is useful after the entire 8-week treatment, but my initial experience is that it's easy to use - but get your own razor for IPL prep. ... show more
