    • Great Laser Engraver Enclosure!
I purchased this very nice laser engraver enclosure to replace a very flimsy Comgrow enclosure. Unlike most of the other enclosures on the market (including the Comgrow) that look of "solid" construction in the seller's online photos, this enclosure is actually very solid. It is definitely not one of those soft-sided, flimsy, zippered enclosures like most others on the market. This enclosure is very easy to assemble, as the top and sides are held together with very strong Velcro. The fan and filter unit is assembled and attached to the enclosure with six machine screws. The manufacturer also includes a four inch flexible exhaust vent and clamp. The included LED light bar is slso a nice touch. However, while the fan includes its own standard electrical outlet plug, the LED light bar requires a USB power adapter, but unlike the fan cord, the light cord does have a built-in on/off switch.. This enclosure is HUGE both in girth and height. The XTool D1 Laser Engraver fits in this enclosure with plenty of room to spare on all sides and above (even with the leg extensions attached). The included exhaust fan is quiet, and it moves a lot of air, while the filter does a nice job of removing smoke. I use the included fan and filter to supplement the four inch Vivosun filtering system that I already have. The enclosure seals very well, and all of the smoke goes into the filtering system, even when doing a lot of wood cutting. The plastic amber tinted window is large, and it works well to block some of the UV light from the laser. However, I still recommend wearing a certified pair of UV blocking safety glasses to protect the eyes from damage. The window works well, along with the LED light bar, to allow viewing of the progress of the current project. The flexible (in two places) solid top is held closed on three sides by very strong magnets. The top seals very well, and does not allow smoke to escape. There is a mesh holder on one side for small manuals, and elastic tool holders on the other side. Both sides and the top-rear have rubber wire passthrough grommets, which is very convenient. While there is no bottom to this enclosure, it still seals very well to whatever surface it is sitting on, allowing no smoke to escape. Overall, I highly recommend this enclosure. It is very comparable to the original XTool enclosure, with some nice included features, and without the high price tag. The seller will even send you new filters when you need them (about every three months with heavy laser use), just by emailing them. This is actually the best laser enclosure I have seen to-date, especially at this lower price range. Pick one up now. You definitely won't be sorry you did. ... show more

    • Good enclosure
This enclosure works pretty well with my Creality Falcon 2. The size it right. Assembly is straight forward. I've already got a 4" fume extraction system, so I hooked mine into that. It works well. Since I have my own exhaust system, I can't speak to the quality of the fan and filter included here. From my experience, I can tell you that they will likely not keep up. Especially if you're cutting the really stinky and dangerous stuff like acrylic. It might help, but you'll really want to be exhausting outside. ... show more

Sturdy easy to setup enclosure. Looks good, has magnets on the lid to hold it closed, and the light is an excellent addition. It's hard sided, not the usual soft vinyl with the plastic frame like most. This one is built like the $190 xtool/atomstack enclosure, at a much better price. One issue I had was the filter plugging, I would suggest not using it, or cutting the bottom out as in my picture. The filter is a good idea, but for this use, it can't handle the smoke. The fan is pretty strong though, it can easily keep up with cutting or scoring wood, and it being mounted on the top makes sense! The customer support was excellent and helped me with my filter questions. Would recommend this enclosure with the filter mods. Extra info:: the light is usb-A, the cord is probably 4ft, so it needs to hooked to a PC or charging brick. The fan is a 12v barrel plug, and it comes with a power adapter (total length about 5ft). ... show more
