I was very surprised how thick the vinyl material is and seems very good quality. It has this very neat two stage fill valves that allows for very quick deflation once you are ready to store it away for the season and at the same time allows you to open the first stage and fill it up without losing all the air as you are filling it. The head pillow is detachable but you need to deflate the pillow a bit to get in there to remove it from the built in mounts. I made the mistake of filling both and trying to attach the pillow afterwards and it was not going to happen. I like it very much so far and hope it lasts after spending some time in the beating sun. Glad the weather is heating up so I can get a chance to float out in the pool and have my drink cup right there with me in the built in cup holder. ... show more

This just arrived today in the AM and we have already used it in the pool. It took a little while to inflate with a pump, but it is huge. It is large enough to fit my husband (almost completely) who is 6'6" and me at 5'2" and it is really sturdy. It has two drink holders on either side, and a removeable headrest that runs the width of the float. You can also use this without a pool to float in. It can be filled with water for a cooling and relaxing treat on your patio or deck, or you can let the kiddies enjoy like a kiddie pool. I am sure this is easy to deflate and store for the cooler weather season, but we haven't gotten that far with it yet. As far as suntanning goes, though, let me take this opportunity to urge everyone to please use sunscreen liberally before you enjoy any activities in the sun, and reapply often. ... show more

If I can keep this away from the grand kids and all their little friends this should last a long time, it is very heavy duty. Have not used it yet, pool is still a little cold. I have a small compressor to inflate and deflate all the blow up pool things we have, this is by far the largest of them and really looking forward to using it. I love the size of this inflatable! I haven’t used it in the water yet but I have used it to lay out in my backyard and tan plus do some work on my laptop. It was easy to blow up with a pump but I can’t imagine blowing it up with your mouth as it is very big. Wish it came in pink!
