Features

  • Anti- Rust and Durable Steel StructureThe chicken coop uses a high-quality steel pipe frame, coupled with galvanizing technology, don't worry about rusting in outdoor. The steel pipe is strong and stable enough in windy and heavy rain.
  • Waterproof Shed Fabric210D waterproof and UV-resistant Oxford cloth can effectively protect chickens from bad weather. The shed frame of the spire design can drain rain, snow and debris, and will not accumulate on the roof.
  • PVC Coated Hexagonal Wire MeshThe wall of the chicken coop is made of PVC coated hexagonal wire mesh that is too solid and durable to damage. Also, the small gaps between meshes add safety to your chicken that prevent them from some predators.
  • Easy InstallationThe components of the bolt combination design can easily and quickly build the chicken house. The chicken coop can be used as a habitat for small pets such as rabbits, ducks, cats, dogs, sheep, birds, and land turtles. • Excellent… for the price! READ this before buying
Pattern Name: Dome Roof Size: 10’ W x 19.7’ L x 6.5’ H
This chicken run is ideal for someone who is raising chickens in a large backyard and is looking to deter hawks and eagles from your flock. If you live somewhere rural (with foxes, coyote, wolves, raccoons, possum) you may need to get a more secure chicken run. Pros: - Easy enough to assemble. I’m not very good at assembling things but it took 3 people about 4 hours to assemble. - Low cost. For the money this is a great option! - Tarp. Comes with a tarp to cover the area where the chicken coop is placed. Can shield chickens from rain. - Large size. I only have 4 chickens but I think this thing is big enough for 10-15! - Door. It has a door which is nice! I’m 5’8” and it’s nice to walk in the chicken run with enough room above me. This coop is tall enough that you can walk in and clean but it’s not too tall. I was worried it would be too tall and be an eyesore for my neighbors. Luckily, It barely is visible over the fence. - Comes with zip ties and some wire. - Green colored hex mesh. I like this color it has! Cons: - Flimsy material. The hex chicken wire mesh material that it is made out of is not the sturdiest. I was hoping it would be more like chain link fence feeling material. If you have destructive dogs I would be careful with this chicken run. A dog could easily jump on it and break the zip ties holding it together. -Held together by zip ties and faith. The assembly feels like it may fall apart in a couple years. It’s being held together entirely by zip ties and wire. - Light weight. You might think this is a good thing but if a big storm comes through it would be concerning. I went to the store and bought some large screws to secure the chicken run to some railroad ties. I highly recommend securing it in someway so that it doesn’t blow away! - Aesthetics. It doesn’t come with any decor. Chicken runs just aren’t the most pretty thing. I purchased the round roof option because I want it to be somewhat aesthetically pleasing. To make it look cuter I purchased some fake moss tiles and made it look like a shrub growing around it. - Challenges cutting and wrapping the run. You will have to cut the hex mesh stuff at some point during the assembly. Luckily there is a little extra mesh if you mess up. Not a lot of room for error. - Low security chicken run. Make sure you lock your chickens up at night in their coop!!! Predators could easily weasel their way under the hex mesh. In my opinion the chicken run is good for during the day. I believe it will stop hawks from getting them. But at night I still lock them up in their coop to protect them from other predators. Summary: This chicken run is excellent for the price. In this economy everything is so expensive!! Glad this didn’t break the bank. To buy all the parts at hardware store will cost you more money!! In my opinion it is worth it if you are just doing chicken stuff in a large backyard as a hobby. However….If you live somewhere more rural that has serious predator problems, I would highly suggest buying something more secure and more sturdy!! ... show more

  • Minor mods, for durability.
Pattern Name: Flat Roof Size: 9.2' L x 18.4' W x 6.4' H
My wife ordered this thing - I assembled it, and I'm reviewing it. Just call me 'Honey". Overall, this chicken coop isn't hard to put together, but it leaves something to be desired for sturdiness. I purchased some 20 foot treated 2x4, and screwed the whole thing to the 2x4 instead of using ground anchors into the ground. You'll need 2 20', and 2 10' 2x4 minimum, along with a couple short 2x4 scabs at the corners to make it decently sturdy. THEN, I rolled out some 4 ft chicken wire on the ground, and set the chicken coop on top of the wire. Try to center it up, 2' inside, and 2' outside the coop. Go inside, snip the wire in the corners to fold it UP, and tie it to the chicken coop wire. Dogs, cats, or whatever will have a hard time digging under the edges of the coop. I'll throw mulch on top of the exposed wire later, to cover it up. I still need to cut the wire for the ends, but the coop is pretty solid, sturdy, and pretty much varmint proof, at 90 or 95% finished. Need to get a couple photos, so people can see what I've actually done. (Please excuse the mess - this bit of ground has been neglected for a long time!) Additionally, the wire I've folded up, inside, will contribute to keeping the tiny peeps inside with their mama. (Anyone who has raised poultry has seen the peeps running through the fencing!) This is one of those jobs, you make all your mistakes on the first one - and carry what you learned forward to the next project. I will suggest that anyone purchasing one of these should get the spire, or the round roof. It rained last night, and the tarp holds water on the flat roof. I shall over come that little problem by putting a 2x4 between the center of the tarp, and the top poles. Overall - this is a pretty good chicken house. I can't give it 5 stars, but it's close. I must mention that I've read all the previous reviews. It seems obvious that this is not the same chicken house that was originally sold a couple years ago. The wire isn't "heavy", but it's strong enough to stop my dog, the cats, and most other predators. It isn't going to stop a mountain lion or a bear, maybe not even a bobcat, but anything smaller will probably be stopped. The 'upgrades' the manufacturer has documented have paid off. I can't really tell you how long it should take to assemble this coop. One reviewer said 4 hours, another said 6 or 8. I'll be honest - I'm aging, and my health isn't super, I've potted around with it for 3 days, and I'll finish it up tomorrow. I'm pretty sure that a healthy handy-man can knock this out in less than a day, even with my mods. ... show more

  • Great pen for the price
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 157.2"L x 117.6"W x 76.8"H
Don’t let the shipping cost deter you. The fact that it is not Prime was not a factor for me. It arrived way before the estimated date so it ships very fast. I calculated to build my own pen from scratch of a similar size would cost me well over $300 in parts. So the $60 for shipping still made this product really affordable. I built it alone and it took me about 5 hours start to finish. Really easy assembly and the instructions are very clear. Just be aware, the parts are very lightweight so you might need to buy addition stakes to secure it to the ground. My other tip is buy at least 200 heavy duty zip ties. The company provides you with 250 but it was not enough and they were not very strong and could snap easily if I pulled hard enough. All in all, great product for the price. Easy assembly. Perfect for a backyard chicken keeper like myself. ... show more

  • Sturdiness
Pattern Name: Spire Roof Size: 157.2"L x 117.6"W x 76.8"H
Ok so this is a decent purchase if you don’t mind modifying it the wire that comes with this pen is unacceptable it’s a plastic material and will not keep out predators( 2nd photo is the frame and roll of wire that came with it) the frame is easy to assemble it just clicks together and only requires a few bolts if your looking for a very heavy duty frame for areas with snow this is not the pen for you but for areas that don’t have snow this is a great starter pen with modifications hope that helps (First photo is my plans for this pen) ... show more
