Almost 5 ft long so give you plenty of space to work with a long dress on. I like that a chair can fit in it when it's open so it's feels naturally like a table. I like this version of the sewing table. It has a place for everything I need to sew. It's fairly easy to put together, with easy understandable directions. The sturdiness of the cabinet is awesome. I have my sewing machine and serger on the case and it handles them well.
