This swing is great, offering options to tailor the movement, speed, time, and music to your needs. It's very easy to set up thankfully, I think it took me about 10 minutes and then maybe another five minutes just kind of experimenting with the various options. When you have a new baby, finding anything that calms them seems like a miracle. This swing has been that for me. My 2 month old is beautiful, perfect, and the light of my life, but she is sometimes very fussy. This swing accomplishes even what constant dedicated rocking and singing can do when she is having an extra fussy day. It keeps her calm, cozy (nice thick padding) and happy! With the 5 point safety harness I feel secure about her safety, too. The remote control is great! I can sneakily operate it from a distance so I need not chance waking her up when she is finally resting peacefully. When even the slightest movement (or heaven forbid, a sneeze or cough) could instantly awaken her, I really appreciate being able to keep the swing and music going from a distance. This holds a child of up to 20 pounds so I'd say it's probably good for the first year or so of your little one's life. I will be beyond sad when that time comes! This swing…the LAREX Electric Baby Swing is fantastic. I have tried other swings, but none of them even came close to having all the features that this one does. This swing has made my baby girl so happy and content. She is so soothed by it, almost from the moment I put her in. The swing has five speeds so if your baby does not like one speed then keep trying. After some trial and error, I combined the right swing speed with the right Bluetooth lullaby, and now it never fails to soothe her. If I am doing something across the room then the remote is handy to have. The remote is such an extra special nice touch. The swing was easy to assemble, and I am not even mechanically inclined. The swing is a nice neutral color that blends into any room decor. I did remove and wash the seat pad and head rest on cold gentle cycle to test it. I hung it up to dry. There was no fading, no pills, no loose threads, or no shrinkage with washing. This swing is premium and well worth the money.     • Works nicely but assembly harder than it should be

Only issue was the assembly. One of the two curved base bars was extremely difficult to insert. Then, where you're supposed to put in the screws to secure it, it was difficult to screw in (especially with the wimpy screwdriver they supplied). I could not get them to screw in flush, so I had to put a furniture pad over them to keep it from scratching whatever it sits on. However, once assembled, it works nicely. ... show more

So happy to have this LAREX Baby Swing. I wasn't sure how to "entertain" my son's newborn every moment of the day, as I am still working. This LAREX Baby Swing is so good that my son immediately bought one for his home. The music and options for speed / motion, as well as the comfort (well made padding) and small footprint - make this a real winner. There was no plastic or rubber smell when it came out of the box and that is a real plus, as sometimes these products have to be aired out for a day before using them. Overall super happy with this LAREX Baby Swing and there is a lot of competition in baby swings - for us, the safety, comfort, and bluetooth capability make this a good value. It is compact which is great for right floor space, but does take away from the space available for the baby which isn't great. This swing is quite an improvement from what we had been using. We really like that this swing is rechargeable so we don't have to worry about putting it in a spot that has access to an outlet. We regularly bring this in to our kitchen so our son can watch us while we are preparing dinner. The bluetooth on it is a great option as well as the built in sounds get old after a while and we can then pair our phones to it and play what our son likes most. ... show more

The Larex baby swing seemed perfect, it looks appealing, it has many different functions, but then I had a closer look… The straps and headrest are off center and it reallllly bothers me. The straps are at two different heights and the headrest is way to the left. While this doesn’t do anything to the functionality of the swing, it’s just annoying to look at and the straps being off make it pull up on the middle harness and it just looks uncomfortable to me. Everything else with the swing is great the remote works as it should and is really helpful if you’re working in the next room and the swing stops, so overall it’s a nice swing, hoping it’s just a quality error and they’re not all like this. ... show more
