We our our baby in the chair while he is resting so we can do a few things around the house. The music is great and the movement is soothing. We have a zipper swaddle so we unzip the bottom, and secure him in, and his arms can still be swaddled and comfy. The remote has to be close to work, but overall the chair is great. This swing is really easy to put together and works very well. I like the following features a lot - the flying insect net, the remote, the side to side rocking motion, the built in lullabies, the bluetooth feature and the three different positions from upright to laying down. The three different positions for my baby to lay, recline, or sit up are great because babies can be fussy! It took me a little bit to realize you have to push the switch under the front of the swing all the way up to maximize the motion of the swing, but once I figured that out it swings side to side very well. The swing states for infants up to 20 lbs. My daughter is almost 6 months and still small, so no problems there. I probably should have gotten it sooner!! The music is also a great feature, especially since you can connect to your phone and play different sounds! Overall it is a very nice sturdy swing with all the key features This swing plugs into an outlet for normal operation, however, I would like to see a battery option as well so it could be moved more freely or taken outdoors. Since it is powered by a USB cord, that is plugged into a wall adapter on one end and the swing on the other, I plan to try to buy a small $8.50 USB battery pack and see if that will power it as well. I might even try a lithium ion battery pack that charges phones. If the specs match the swing specs that could be a winner! Stay tuned! ... show more

I bought this in advance, I’m not due until Jan so won’t know full quality until after then. Assembly was easy. It looks really great. I like the big net option if we were to be outside. Music options were nice. The swing motion doesn’t seem entirely smooth so i am very curious what it will be like when baby gets here. ... show more

UPDATE: The seller reached out to me and generously offered a replacement swing. The new one resolved all my complaints - go buy the upgraded version from this amazing company!!! Here was my old review: This has an uneven, wobbly base with two supporting legs. One is much longer than the other, the buttons make loud beeps, and as far as I know, there’s no way to turn that off. Those beeps disturb my baby when I lay him in it to sleep, I wish it had more support under his knees. It’s just kind of flat there, and he doesn’t seem to find this seat comfortable, he finds his car seat more comfortable. I wish I had kept the box so I could return it. ... show more

By the time we needed to use the side button to prop the baby up more, it was too late to return. Bad on us. The one side button was broken and you couldn't prop it up. Only useful for an infant. Good swing, ours was simply defective. This particular button was stiff when we received and first tried it, but we were able to get it to work. After a few months, when we needed to prop the baby up more, the button didn't work at all. After 4 months, it's going in the trash. Disappointing. ... show more
