Really, the only thing that matters is that your baby likes the swing you put them in. All other things are auxiliary to that. My daughter loves the other swing that I have in the pictures, but its big and bulky and harder to move around and take anywhere. This new swing is very easy to setup and take down, allowing you to take it with you on travels. The buttons on the base are not "push" buttons, so use them as if they are a touchscreen. I love this electric swinger. So many features for the price ! Now my only small comment on it is the range of the remote . It comes with one and you can change Wtv settings you want but you have to be extremely close to the censor which defeats the purpose because I’m at arms reach of just manually changing it myself . This swing addresses the issues with similar swings that have been recalled. 1. Seat recline positions being a hazard because baby could fall out. This swing only has one seat position, and it's safe. 2. The batteries in the remote control being a choking hazard. This remote control requires removing a screw in order to get the battery out. This swing is portable and easy to assemble and disassemble. There are 5 swing speeds. Preset lullabies and Bluetooth connectivity if you want to play your own music. Also features a timer and a touch panel or remote for user control. The headrest and seat cushion are both removable and reversible. They each attach via velcro. Includes a canopy with mosquito netting. The canopy attaches to each side of the swing and velcros behind the top of the seat. There are 2 removable hanging toys that are plain, nothing exciting. The safety belt has a buckle on each side. It's adjustable and has velcro to assist. It's a little hard to adjust. There is a snap button flap closure on each side of the seat. After fitting the cushion on the seat frame, there are 4 silver snap buttons to secure it to the frame. You only use two of those snap buttons. The top button is easy, but the bottom button takes a little strength to pull it close enough to snap it. This swing does not run on batteries. It comes with the cord and adapter. To take the seat off the base, I recommend facing the swing and standing with one foot on each leg, bend down and reach around behind the base and pull the silver lever back, while pulling up on the swing at the same time. You need to pull up at the exact angle as it fits into the base. When you get it right, it will pull up and out super easy. During assembly, two screws fit on each leg. The place where you insert the screws looks weird because one of the holes is round (like you'd expect), but the other one is like a slit. But both screws fit. I love this swing. I love that the hazards for babies' safety have been addressed and corrected. HIghly recommend. ... show more

This baby swing is a flexible and practical choice for new parents. As a mom of 6 this thing is a life saver for a baby who suffers from horrible colic. It isn't exactly a swing, more like a baby swayer, but my child loves the sway motion. With five sway speeds and a single seat position adjustment, our little loves this thing! It is easy to move around the house or take with you because it is lightweight and portable. The remote control is a godsend!! We can change speed or sound without having to disturb a sleeping baby. I wish I had something like this with my other 5 kids. I don't mind the lullaby's or sounds, but I love the Bluetooth as my son finds white noise soothing. It is a great traditional swing alternative. This swing is amazing. I have tried other swings with my other kids, but none of them even come close to having all the features this one does. This swing has made my life easier. My baby girl is so soothed by it. The swing has five speeds so if your baby does not like one speed then keep trying. After some trial and error, I combined the right swing speed with the right Bluetooth lullaby and now it never fails to soothe her. There are also 10 preset lullabies to try too. If I am doing something across the room then the remote is handy to have. The remote is such an extra special feature for parents. The swing was easy to assemble and I am not even mechanically inclined. The swing has a nice long cord that makes placement near desired areas easy. The swing is a nice neutral color that blends into any room decor. I did remove and wash the seat pad and head rest on cold gentle cycle to test it. I hung it up to dry. I was super unsure of which swing to get my baby. She gets super fussy whenever I put her down so I needed one that mimics me rocking her. This one does a pretty good job of that.
