Bought this for my Gateway 14" laptop (which measures 13.25" x 8.75") and it fits just perfectly, even with a mouse dongle inserted. The fabric is soft yet durable feeling, meaning a bit stiffer than say quilted bedding but still nice to the touch. All the zippers work well, the lining is soft, handle extends and retracts properly. There's a large front zippered pocket that's plenty adequate for a charging cord. I tried it with a mouse too, and while it fits just fine, obviously it made the front bulky looking. I managed to grab this paisley pattern on a "used: like-new" option. I had an old sleeve that I love for my two 1O inch kindles but now I can securely store them and my 11 inch kindle and my charger and cords all in this lovely case I have the pink pocket for my cords. It fits in the outside pocket. My other sleeve didn’t have a handle on it and sometimes when carrying several items it has almost slipped out of my grasp. I got this so I can carry my work laptop easily everywhere I go. It’s pretty and fits my laptop perfectly. I love the handle at the top to carry it and the soft fabric. It does open at the top versus along the side… which was kind of strange for me.. but added to its uniqueness.

The heavy-duty metal zipper is so much better than laptop sleeves with plastic zippers. The interior has very soft, plush fabric that will protect the laptop from scratches and dings. The handle is reinforced and comfortable to carry.
