I bought this little desk several months ago now and I'm very grateful I did! I completed a bachelor's degree on this thing, as well as the usual movies in bed. It's the right size for a standard laptop and it folds up nicely to be stored. It's not too heavy, but it's very sturdy and the locking mechanisms have never collapsed on me. Pros: * I can use my laptop in bed even when I need a real mouse for something (gaming comes to mind) * The height and angle adjustments are actually great * It's sturdy enough to use and doesn't feel cheap * It folds up nearly flat and can be stored under the bed easily Cons: * It's just slightly less wide than I wish it was. I have fairly long arms, so a bit of extra width would have been nice for comfort when using a mousepad and mouse. But the specs are published and I knew what I was buying. * It's not exactly "rock solid" when placed on a desktop. The item description made it seem like a viable alternative to a sit/stand desk. You could just stick it on your normal sitting-height desk, extend the legs, and boom, you have a standing desk. Not so. It's pretty wobbly. This isn't as noticeable when sitting on the carpeted floor or on my bed, but this is not a good option if you're trying to achieve a standing desk on a budget. This is the reason I deducted a star. The desk folds into a pretty big but maybe 3-4” thick flat surface which is great for travel. It’s big enough for my ~14” laptop and 16” portable monitor (with a little hanging) and leaves room for my mouse! I’m helping my mom recover from surgery so I’m sleeping on her couch and constantly packing up my workspace between work shifts so I’m not taking over her living room. I love that I can just close my laptop and monitor, unplug, and move the whole setup off to the side and out of the way. It makes moving my workspace around a lot easier! Plus it is roomy without being overwhelming and adjusts really well. The clips pop up so you can “lock” your laptop position and the surface is smooth but has enough grip that only my mouse slides around. The mouse hand cushion is a nice touch and keeps my mouse from rolling off the desk when it’s tilted. It’s also actually very comfortable and made of a rubber that seems easy to clean. I was surprised by how well the desk holds when tilted too. You can pretty much get it to any angle you like within its range, it’s very secure. 10/10 great all around travel desk. Legs are too big for arm chairs is maybe the only con but I’m using it propped on a coffee table or flat on the arms to get around that. ... show more
