I ruptured my Achilles tendon and was going to be in bed for 1-2 weeks after surgery, plus a few weeks of light duty after that. Anyone who has tried to use their laptop in bed will be familiar with the uncomfortable routine of bracing a keyboard against your knees, keeping your mouse by your side (until you drop it off the bed), and sometimes leaning your laptop up against some pillows in an attempt to ease the crick in your neck from the awkward viewing angles. I picked this table from a few others, and I wasn't disappointed. It is very lightweight and I can easily move it around with one hand. It's sturdy enough to support a laptop, though I'm just using it to hold the keyboard and mouse. Angle controls are simple and easy to use, the little rubber braces that keep things from sliding off are robust and securely mounted. My one complaint is that I wish the surface were made of something a bit more artificial. The wood is slick and things slide around on it. I just wish the top surface had some kind of leather or anything that would make it less slippery. Other than that, I'd say a solid 4.75 out of 5. ... show more

But, it slid into hooks that stop your laptop from sliding off, his mouse had room. He loved that's it tilts, and has an adjustable height. It is nothing impressive, but it is still nice nonetheless, good build quality, holds my heavy laptop, and there's enough room for my mouse and laptop cooler. It's fully adjustable which i like, but it would be nicer of the front end was curved or something, so it would be more comfortable to rest your hands on. Folding it is very simple, but i always just leave it all setup on my bed, there is no assembly required but the color and texture are a nice touch. I do wish the wrist rest was more padded, Its just a simple rubber piece and hard plastic bottom, but i imagine if you put some foam or something in there, it would be a little more comfortable, i just pop it out and use my own though. If you want something that's of decent size and provides just enough room for your laptop and mouse, this is it, if you want a large table for a external keyboard to be used with your laptop and want cup holders, phone holders and all that, this will not offer that, even with the biggest one. Final verdict - if you want something cheap but still works and feels well built and you don't have a massive setup, this is for you ... show more

I bought this little desk several months ago now and I'm very grateful I did! I completed a bachelor's degree on this thing, as well as the usual movies in bed. It's the right size for a standard laptop and it folds up nicely to be stored. It's not too heavy, but it's very sturdy and the locking mechanisms have never collapsed on me.
