The Falanko backpack has more structure and storage pockets that are secure and spacious. The metal fame top opening allows packing ease, the size of water bottle holders allows me to use my 32 oz S'well Explorer bottles and holds 4 days worth of shirts, a pair od jeans, 1 cotton warm up pants and all the toiletries for an airplane trip as am under seat carry on as well.     • Very cute but not the most Functional for Work

The backpack is very cute. I love the color and how durable it is. The main compartment is not as roomy as I expected. I can fit my laptop, iPad and a work portfolio in there before I have to start playing Tetris with other items. I have a 15in laptop and when it’s in the sleeve, it comes right up to the top of the bags’s opening and I’m just barely able to close it over the edge of the laptop, especially when there are other items inside. The sleeve is wide enough to fit both my laptop and iPad, the bag is just not very tall. The zipper mechanism isn’t the easiest to operate with the way the opening side flaps are shaped. I used it for work and often only had one hand free to get into the bag but that’s nearly impossible. You’ll need 2 hands, 1 to straighten out the flap that the zipper goes over while the other hand unzips and zips. I had to go back to my old briefcase for work. I kept the bag and just now use it for the gym. I can fit my clothes and other equipment into the main compartment, there are places for water bottles, and the middle compartment is perfect to slip my headphones in and out of since the speakers swivel to a flat position. The wide opening also makes it easy to just sit the bag open on a bench or counter and grab items as needed while changing and getting ready. ... show more

I bought this backpack with college graduation money. I sure wish I had had it during student teaching! My favorite thing are the side pockets that hold my large water bottle and my coffee cup (with spill proof lid). I was constantly juggling my lunch box, water bottle, and other items when I was carrying a regular shoulder tote bag. This fits mostly everything I need on a daily basis. I do wish that the front smaller pocket had two way zippers, but I love that I can clip my keys in, have pen and other storage, and stash non-frequently used items elsewhere. This will take me far into my teaching career. I can't say how durable since I have only had it for a month or so, but I spilled coffee on it and it cleaned right up. It was hard choosing a color, but I love the pink! I would recommend this to anyone attending college or that needs separate storage areas to keep their things organized. I love that the top opens up so wide, but closes to make carrying more manageable. ... show more

There's a million pockets to pack everything you need. It's huge inside but you'd never know by looking at it. It's built sturdy, solid zippers, and straps are strong. I'll have this bag for a long time.
