I purchased this as a gift to go along with a 12 x 12 Shutterfly calendar I made. While the calendar fits inside the slot it doesn't go all the way to the edge. Back was attached upside down. So the pencil so Lot is upside down on the top end instead of the bottom end where you can actually use it. Otherwise looks cute and serves the purpose. A bit overpriced for the quality.

Color was not what I expected. It was much more yellow than it looks it most of the pics online. I was looking for something closer to the "saddle" color of the vertical calendar holder. Packaging was poor; could easily have been damaged.
