Before getting this product I was on the fence as I saw some people say it irritated their skin especially if you already have sensitive skin (which I do) but I decided to try it anyway and I really like it! I like this kind of exfoliating toner to use, especially going in the 2nd week after getting my facial done. This one isn’t for the dramatic exfoliating result, but rather the mild one you can use everyday to prevent the deal cell from building up on your skin. I use this one right after I clean the face, and then followed by the first step toners. Or sometimes I use it after using cleansing water when I don’t have time to wash it right after (like I want to take makeup off right away but don’t plan to wash my face till I take a shower later at night). While I usually don’t like any fragrance on my skin care products, the scent of this toner didn’t bother me as it smells refreshing although not subtle (a bit sweet scent) . This brand has been quite popular for a loooong time and popular for a reason in South Korea. This brand provides the one of the most cost performing skin care products from South Korea in terms of quality vs price in my opinion. If you have a skin type like me (FYI, I have an oily combination skin that gets quite sensitive depending on my menstrual cycle), you will like it ! ... show more

I have oily skin. This toner is great with freshening skin without drying out or making it feel tight. Doesn't cause my skin to over produce oil to compensate after using toner. The design of this toner bottle is so concise and artistic! I’m a loyal customer of laneige’s lip masks and this is the first time that I tried toner. It provides moderate level of hydration and I love the soothing and relaxing scents of this toner. My skin feels comfortable after the first time I used it. However, the third time that I tried this toner, I have some allergy/acne reactions. My skin type is dry and sensitive, and I rarely have problem with acne. But my face turned red and have 3 acne appeared. I stopped using it for a while and I just tried it yesterday. Everything seems to be fine again. So my conclusion is that it’s probably fine for sensitive skin, but since it contains acid, it’s better to be careful and stop using it a while when your skin condition is not healthy and reliable. It’s really a good toner and I like it a lot, but I would recommend think twice if your skin is sensitive as I do. ... show more

I love this toner - it is very refreshing and just perfectly preps my skin for my night time products. I love that it is so light and does not leave any residue! It smells amazing too! It has made my products absorb better and not sure if that is where the exfoliation comes into play. I love this toner- it comes out somewhat thick, not purely watery. It’s extremely refreshing and I feel I can use less than I do with other toners. The bottle is just gorgeous. It leaves my face feeling sooo clean. I would be happy to have received this as a gift!
