I’m not a great painter by any stretch and I was really happy with the end result. Surprisingly good paint quality and canvas for the price. I found a few spots too hard and just painted over the detail, but that was purely due to my inexperience.

I completed this painting today. I did enjoy it. It took me about 10 days and that's painting several hours a day because there's just so much detail! However, I am a little disappointed. The paints aren't near as vibrant as the photo and therefore, the painting isn't as striking. The yellows and the greens are quite lovely, but none of the blues shine as much and so the moon glow on the creek doesn't have much of an effect. It's too bad as this painting had a lot of potential. The quality of the paints themselves were just fine--very usable and if they dried in the pots a little, I just added a drop or two of water and stirred with a toothpick. I had more than enough to complete the painting. I want to make it clear that if they dried any, it was because I had opened them and was using them for a long period of time. One thing that really pleased me was the clarity of the paint numbers on the canvas. I occasionally had to refer to the photo I took at the start of the project, but this was, by far and so far, the best I’ve seen. The included paintbrushes are terrible. I just threw them away and used the better ones I already have for such projects. ... show more

I am really enjoying this paint by numbers😁 I really like the quality of the paint and the size of the image! The numbers are easy to read as well. The only thing I wasn't really a fan of is how it’s packaged. It is folded, but if you iron it out the creases you should be fine. Also, the brushes that it comes with aren’t the best, but I already had a bunch of paint brushes on hand especially for the very small spaces so that wasn’t a problem for me. ... show more

I’ve done quite a few paint by numbers, but this has been the worst one. Don’t get me wrong, the picture presented was beautiful. Maybe the numbers are printed too darkly or the paint is just too thin…you have to put coat after coat after coat to hide the number. In some areas I even used a dab of white paint to cover the number first before painting - still looked awful. ... show more

I received this in the mail today and was so excited, until I opened it and saw that it is 40x50! Wayyyyy too big for what I was wanting. I guess I will reorder and hope its correct the 2nd time around.
