I looked on Amazon and Walmart for days trying to find the right ladder for the right price. This is the 1st one I've ever had to buy myself so I never realized how overly expensive they are. But compared to the cost of other ladder's similar to this I'm happy with my choice. I needed a ladder for both inside and out. The 1st thing I needed it for was to clean my gutters and I have bushes around certain parts of the house and a deck on the back so I needed a versatile ladder that could reach over them and wasn't too tall. I've used just about every setting for this ladder so far and it has held up great. I think the weight limit was 300lbs and I'm 6'4 250lbs so I'm not a small guy and even with it extended out leaning over bushes this ladder held up great. My only complaint is I think ladders are over priced, but I'd definitely recommend this for someone looking for a general purpose ladder. ... show more

My initial evaluation is that this is a nice ladder. It takes a bit of effort to pull out the slide stops to raise or lower the ladder. They are the same as some other ladders that I have owned, but none required as much force to pull them out. I will say, when this ladder is fully extended and used as a straight ladder, it seems much studier than others I currently own. My others all seem to be weak at the hinge point, with those ladders flexing when fully extended. This ladder does not flex. I would have given it five stars but for the dents in the top rungs. ... show more

Only had the ladder for a week before I had a chance to use it. It is versatile and works as advertised. But the safety rails with “feet” are purchaser installed. The feet on one were evidently installed (at factory) upside down because I could only get the holes to line up by pointing the feet toward the center / peak of the ladder rather than downward. Could find no way to “Contact seller” for a replacement part. Amazon would only offer a refund on return, no replacement (out of stock / discontinued.) Not wanting to wrestle with returning a 30lb item, I was able to coax the bad safety rail into position with several hits with a hammer so I could install the bolts while facing the feet correctly. Moreover, I found enough scratches on the ladder that I’m sure it was sold previously and returned (just like the Greenworks electric mower I recently purchased!) Don’t trust Amazon for any hardware bigger than tools, that’s my new motto! ... show more

I like this ladder alot. It feels confident to climb it as it doesn’t flex much at all. It has similar locks for the rungs as the heavy expensive ladders and the brace at the bottom gives it great stability.
