For what it’s worth, it’s not a bad product. Low raters just don’t know the reality of how expensive new furniture is- you get what you give. It serves as a good starter table for someone in their 20s. Very easy to assemble. Stable for what the material is. Only initial complaint was that the edges on the stool seats were too sharp and could easily snag clothing or break skin. Smoothed the edges out with a sander and fixed that issue. Looks are deceiving. Although the set is attractive to the eye that is where the pluses end. Extremely uncomfortable. The hard square edges of the stool digs into your thighs and butt. It is also extremely unstable. Would NOT recommend.

I feel like the ratio between the table and chairs is about 1 in off. It feel like the counter is too high or the chair is a tad low. The build quality is what you would expect from a cheap table with thin sheet metal. It does seem like it bends a bit during assembly but nothing that keeps it from functioning. I think there might be better deals out there since this was very mediocre. The top feels really robust and the chairs are far better than others in this same price range! ... show more

This dining set was easy to assemble. Instructions are clear. Took me about 30 minutes to do it by myself. What worked for me - In the instructions it asks to put the bench frame together first, before attaching to the bench. I found that laying the bench part on the ground (put a sheet under it for protection) and screwing the frame pieces onto it, made for a sturdier base and allowed for quicker assembly. Same with the table top. It’s a very nice looking, sturdy 3 piece dining set, but be aware the table top is pressed wood, easily susceptible to staining and scratching. This was very fast shipping and idk if it because it shipped from Ontario, CA and I’m in Las Vegas ,NV. Literally 2 day shipping. FedEx was decent with bringing it up stairs. Took me a hour to build it myself. I did not add the rod piece. I read past comments where it made the table slightly unseat able and I agree so I didn’t add it but everything else was great.
