The quality is very good. Sturdy. Solid, not flexible or flimsy. But I purchased it solely due to the X shape, which I thought meant it would fold flat when not in use. Nope. It is what the picture shows at all times. Disappointing! I would not have bought it had I known. I don't know what to do with it (where in my small space I can store it) as it doesn't fold up to lean against the wall like my old one did. But if you have the space, this is rugged & can be used as a closet, but not as a clothes dryer as I need. No words for instructions, just pictures that are confusing (but at my advanced age, I've put together LOTS of boxed items, it was doable. Might be frustrating for a novice however.) ... show more

It was way too complicated looking for me to put together but my brother did it, we got it for a garage sale, it holds a lot. Like you could put so much on it 50 shirts I don’t even know, the top did not bend under the weight, but it does not seem super sturdy like it shakes when you sort through the clothes. Maybe a 3/5 in sturdiness, the little shelf under is just fabric by the way. Overall I would recommend it for a sale, it really helps put stuff up. As for a home, If you don’t have a closet maybe like a studio apartment or something but it’s kind of bulky for a regular bedroom or walk in closet addition. ... show more

my closet collapsed in November and my handyman said I had too much clothes. I ended up buying a cheap garment rack from Loews but it always looked as if it was leaning too much to the left or right and it did collapse one time and was on the verge of looking like it was going to again. I bought this for a garage sale to be able to display clothes I was selling and liked that there were 2 separate racks so I could hang lots of stuff on it. When I tell you I LOADED this thing up with clothes…I was actually surprised at how well it held up!     • My unit was missing a bracing piece.
This should be a better review, because the first unit, once I figured out the packaging and assembly instructions (not intuitive or user friendly), the product was quite a good unit for the price and I was satisfied with my purchase. However, the second unit had a piece missing from the bracing rod on one side. I have tried to find someway on the site to report this and obtain a replacement piece, but with no luck.
