The carpet is super soft, more like a bathrobe than a carpet. Thick on the bottom, so it sits well on the floor. Overall it's very nice, however does not look like the photographs marketed. There's no gold, it's more of a beige. And the image, while complex, is printed on top of the fibers. So footprints quickly show the carpet roots. ... show more

This was more beautiful than the picture shows. It is so soft the cat keeps sleeping on it. I can’t say about cleaning as l have not had to yet but supposedly it is machine washable in a laundry bag which l have purchased. The price was good. This is not at all as pictured. The blue isn't as deep and the gold isn't gold at all, it's a yellow beige. It doesn't look like marble, it looks like a child's poor freehand attempt at leopard print. Hideous.
