It's more like regular than toasted sesame oil in terms of flavor and aroma and works well in dressings and dips. I do a lot of Asian cooking and love to use sesame oil wherever possible. Unfortunately, it's not the most affordable oil and the ones that are cheap are made in China, where there is no real quality control for food. But this brand, or at least my batch, came from Taiwan where I know there is quality control. And it tastes great! The only minor complaint is that the opening dribbles a little bit after pouring, but I think it's because I opened it too hard initially. ... show more
