Instructions are easy to follow. Every piece is well labeled. I'm not a very strong person, but was able to assemble this easily. Very sturdy, was very surprised and am very excited to hook my gaming system up on it. LEDs work, if yours don't flip the plug around and it should work. I really like this desk so far. The hutch is decently sized with a streamlined design, and it fits perfectly in the corner of my bedroom. Easy enough to assemble, but a LOT of parts/screws that are a pain in the ass. However, I've already gotten compliments on it! My only complaint is that it's a bit rickety. Definitely sturdy enough to handle all my gear... just don't bump it too hard or heavily lean on it constantly. For anyone wanting to put their computer tower on the built-in stand near the floor: I have the Corsair Crystal 280X RGB Micro-ATX Case (see photo). It's a fraction of the size of standard cases and it fits perfectly in this desk, so the shelf is pretty narrow/low. You may want to check the dimensions for your build. Let’s start with how misleading the image online vs in person, all lies. The instructions alone were so lazy when it came to images was frustrating! The screw driver is too big for the screws. The led lights have to be put on yourself. The instructions don’t match the holes drilled on some of the wood. Stickers that told us certain pieces were the front were put on wrong so we had to take it apart after putting it all together to fix it. Some holes were drilled terribly, some were stripped… ikea furniture is better quality and easier to put together!! This was an absolute headache, a cheap piece of crap! ... show more

I got this for my small home office and after using it for a week it is really not great. It looks fantastic however it shakes when I am typing an email or write anything on paper. Very annoying and I wonder about the long term durability. The built in power strip is useless as only 2 plugs actually work. It is a good looking desk but overall I wouldn't get it for heavy use. Sadly returning it is out of the question as I don't know if I could even take it apart and pack it back up in a way to do so. I would just avoid it. ... show more

It's easy to put together. The light is cool. The great thing is that there's so much room under the desk it fits perfectly there. With the video and the manual, the assembly is simple. 1 hour can be done. If you have an electric screwdriver at home, I suggest using it.
