First off, the design and color of this flat iron are gorgeous. The sleek, modern look with its soft, neutral tones gives it a high-end, stylish vibe, and it looks beautiful sitting on my vanity. (the pink is true to its color) its also smooth and matte so it makes it look more expensive lol Performance-wise, it’s just as impressive. The 1-pass technology is a lifesaver for my thick curls. I don’t need to go over the same section repeatedly; AND IT DOESN'T PULL MY HAIR. i love my chi iron but i couldn't get over how it would tug at my hair, almost ripping at it, and the smell was a no for me. My hair stays smooth and shiny in the Florida humidity. I also love the ceramic plates, which help to reduce frizz and keep my hair looking sleek and healthy. I love the tool. I’ve had it a week and it heats quickly. My hair stays the same no matter what style I choose. It lasts all day. It does grab my hair sometimes, but that could be bc of how I use it. The color is good. It works well and I like it.

This flat iron is easy to hold. I like the on/off switch, and the option to adjust the temperature. However, if you have very wavy or frizzy hair this product will take you forever to straighten your hair. Took me 20 mins with my old straightener, and just over an hour with this one. Even when I turned up the dial to 400 I had to do several passes to straighten and still my hair still looks frizzy. After each pass I noticed that it lost its heat some and had to wait a bit to continue. I will purchase a different brand and gift this to my grandchildren. I'm thankful I bought this on sale and didn't pay retail for it. ... show more
