I was looking for an easily adjustable solution for a room divider. The track arrives bagged in a tight coil and is almost impossible to straighten. I tried leaving it flat with weight on it, attempted coiling it in the opposite direction, even dabbled with applying heat to particularly uneven areas. By the end of it all, I picked the straightest area and cut to length (which is not easy unless you have the proper saw). Fortunately, you can snap it in place with all the lovely kinks and bends. I can’t imagine actually trying to create an even shape with this thing. TLDR: use a tension rod if you can. ... show more

Guys this is an epic product especially for the price!! Don’t be deterred by the folks saying it is a 2 person job. I did this (16 ft) in less than an hour by myself with one tiny break to rest my shoulders. The trick to one person install IS… do as the instructions say and unroll … RE roll backwards. I taped it and left it for like an hour. I then cut it loose, went down the whole track and straightened the small parts that still had bends…. THEN, this is the good part… I rolled it BACK up the opposite way that it was shipped, created almost a lasso and taped it in increments… after hanging the brackets, I started to pop the track in, 2 brackets at a time, then I’d cut the tape to reveal another portion of the track. Over and over until I got to the end. Trust me I thought I was gonna have to phone a friend but this allowed me to hold the track with one hand and pop it in with my other hand… after 4 brackets, the “lasso” stays up by itself ( that’s what my photo is of) Anyhow I’m impressed at the product and I felt like a boss after I got it up! 20 stars for me and the track! ... show more
