    • Flimsy, keeps falling apart, do not buy

I very rarely leave negative reviews, but this product was awful. I understand it's very cheap so I wasn't expecting anything fancy. The adhesive was very weak so didn't stay up at all. It's so weak that it doesn't even support its own weight without any curtains on it at all. I washed and dried the area to be used, and even gave it a wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove any grease. I waited a day for the area to dry. It was a smooth door, not a wrinkled/rippled wall. It didn't stay up for 5 minutes. The tips that the adhesive are on do not click into the poles and so constantly fall off. Using it as intended, if you push the larger pole into the smaller one, it keeps popping off the end piece at the other end. So, the end pieces constantly fall off, the poles slide around without any way to fix them, and the adhesive doesn't work. NO part of the product works. Again, I understand that it's an affordable product intended for very light use, but if it doesn't even support its own weight, it doesn't function the way intended. Returning. Didn't want to have to screw in rods to hold new window panels and this was the perfect answer! Very easy to install (I did use a level to make sure they were straight). Other reviews talked about them not sticking but out of the 12 rods I installed, only 2 have come unstuck but one easily re-adhered and the other I used a Command Strip and now both are great. I'd give a 4.5 star review based on that. Make sure to clean the area well before adhering and you may not have a problem at all. If you like the sheers, they are Pony Dance Natural Linen Blend French Door Curtains. They are a wonderful fabric with just the right weight and sheerness. I did have to alter the length for my front door but well worth the trouble. ... show more

These fell down within minutes of putting them up. I eventually cut some 3M Command Strips for the 2 spots at the top and they have held up since. Make sure you measure the width of your window. I purchased a set that wound up not extending wide enough since I used a guesstimate. EDITED 12/9/22: Since using this product, the heat during the summer weakened the 3M Command Strips and I wound up having to hang up the rods with Command Hooks with a full strip. So far so good but not as "clean" as simply attaching the rods directly to the door. ... show more

I can't give much feedback in how long they last, because I just installed today. They look nice and I hope they could hold up... my problem is I was doing top and bottom of curtain for a door window and I was trying to find the right placement for said curtain, and even though they were advertised as reusable, the second I tried to move a section it took the paint off the door and now there is no adhesive to the piece. I now have to figure out if I want to take off the other three sides and patch a door and find a different curtain solution, try to enforce the piece where it was originally misplaced, or remove the whole bottom rod patch and reinforce new position of these rods or new rods entirely. ... show more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! These “curtain rods” are a joke. If you are hanging any type of curtain that is heavier than a napkin, these will NOT stay up. We have tried re-adhering them 3 times and even tried with gorilla glue. They will not stay up at all. Total waste of money.
