The media could not be loaded. After extensive research this powerful heavy duty unit was what I decided to invest in. And I’m very happy with the quality and power of this cutter. I decided to alter the safety feed guard which restricts this unit from achieving its full capabilities because of the strict safety protocols placed by the certification process. Easy Peasy removal of cutting blade assembly for cleaning purposes. Be careful this has a Very Sharp SS blade assembly and slicers and cutters like this is the leading cause of injury in the food industry. Use the wooden paddle which comes with the unit not your hand to help assist feeding of product IF Necessary. In addition to the Great customer service provided by KWS it was a great addition to add to my arsenal… and offers various size blade to achieve your desired cut thickness 1st pass will slice 2nd pass will strip 3 pass will fine chunk almost mince I will post the machine in action at a later date ... show more

I am like the other reviewer, I could not find much on this chopper but because of the size of the motor I purchased this chopper. So far it has been a terrific chopper. It is heavy duty. I have used it to work up a couple of deer and it is phenomenal. It never skips a beat. It is pretty easy to clean, just remember never to touch the blades because they are beyond sharp. To clean the blades just remove the screw with the spring on it and it slides off. I love this machine. I work up a couple deer a year and we butcher a pig a year and it turns a lot of the tough pieces into wonderful edible slices for fajitas. The 1.8HP, 1320W motor was the differentiator for me when comparing it to other similar meat cutter models. It seems to work well so far and a heavy duty solid machine! Customer support was excellent in answering my questions both before and after purchase!

I was hesitant about this product but did some research. There were no reviews for this product but I did find some videos on YouTube. Found other models that did the job well but with less power. I decide to go with KWS because of the brand. I’ve used other KWS products and love the quality. This slicer is high-quality and well-built; nice and heavy. I used it for the first time the other day and work will be well. Knives are SHARP!!! Beware, it will cut you. Be CAREFUL. Depending on how many times you throw your meat through the chute, you can almost make ground meat like a grinder. I have the 3 mm version and it makes great slices for stirfry. The only downside is that the mice are really really really hard to clean. Knocking one star for that. Otherwise, this is a great slicer. ... show more
