A great KBM switch if you are sharing displays between two computers. Has three USB ports in front, which I use for a keyboard, mouse, and game controller. The other plugs are in the back, making it much more convenient than other switches. The lights are useful for keeping track of which display is active. Honestly, while the remote is nice, I don't use it - it is easier to just have it on my desk where I can see it and get the the USB ports. I am exceedingly happy with this switch. I use the switch to run two desktop computers with one keyboard and one mouse. I simply push the button and have access to the other computer. There are small rubber feet on the bottom of the switch. I wish the feet were slightly more aggressive to "bite" or grip my desktop better. This does about 2/3 the job of a KVM switch, in that it easily switches the keyboard and mouse (plus two other USB peripherals) between two computers. You can get other models that also handle video for more money, provided both of your computers use the same type of video cable. But since my monitor switches between inputs pretty easily, I went with this cheap option to handle the USB stuff. My only gripe is that one of the USB ports is flaky; if something bumps the connection for Computer 2, all the USB peripherals go dead. ... show more

For the price, this is a pretty good USB KVM switch. However, I've found that connection 1 (of the two) can be a bit fussy and drop/reconnect. It's streaky--it will work for long stretches, then go on the fritz for long stretches. When it's not working, it will disconnect and reconnect several times within a few seconds.
