Should I Buy It?

If you're in the market for a high-quality, versatile case for a showpiece PC build, the Lian Li o11 Dynamic EVO is an excellent choice. It's particularly suitable for enthusiasts willing to invest in additional accessories and put in the effort for a custom setup. The payoff is a stunning, efficient, and well-organized rig. However, those looking for a straightforward, minimal effort assembly may find the complexity and additional costs a deterrent.

  • Awesome Show Build PC Case
The media could not be loaded. This is a great case for a show build, and flexible if you have specific needs like I do. I wanted a display case for my custom-built ATX 4090 / 5800X3D, but I don't have room on my desk for a typical right-side case. I needed a left build or something similar. I also needed something that would fit on the desk in a reasonable way and that wasn't too big. I looked at the Thermaltake 500. Looked cool, but the dimensions were a little off for my space, interior design seemed questionable in some ways, was a bit worried about the thermals, and read some negative reviews. Also looked at the Segotep T1. Again, not fully confident in the case and the size was a little too big. Lian Li has a great reputation, the size of the 011 Dynamic EVO was right (the XL looks amazing but BIG), and the needed accessories were reeadily available. I decided to go for it. I'm quite pleased with the end result, the case has incredible build quality, and looks awesome, BUT it was not an easy build for what I did (reverse build with upright GPU). That said, it did come out essentially perfect. I used the black 011 Dynamic EVO in reverse. Case set up was not too bad. Everything went in fine, but getting the GPU positioned and attached properly was a challenge. If you're looking to do the upright GPU, be sure you get the updated bracket (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1Z2WVYM?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and 600mm extension (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09XJRHYCT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). I also used a 16Pin Right Angle Adapter for the GPU (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BWDVC44J?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). Made the job easier and looks better. For fans I went with the AsiaHorse Matrix (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LQ9FKKJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) to add some side RGB and cut down on fan cables. Temps have been pretty good and equivalent to (if not below) the temps I was getting in the Corsair 4000D. Around 35c at idle and up to the 70s under load. Have the 3 bottom fans and rear fan on intake and the two AIO fans, plus 3 fans mounted behind the GPU set for exhaust. Cable mangement is good, everything fits including the hard drive cage. I did set the PSU on the bottom. Fixing the bottom bracket for that orientation in reverse was tough becuase the bracket doesnt have cut-outs for the screwdriver in that orientation. My GPU is an MSI Gaming X Trio and it fits fine, if snug. I did go with a 240 AIO because the 5800X3D runs cool and a longer AIO would be a tight fit with the GPU, but probably possible. All in all, I highly recommend this case but caution that it's not an easy build. If you want a really well-made case that's not enormous (like the 011 XL), especially one that can do a left-side build with an upright GPU, this is a great case. Go for it. ... show more

  • Excellent computer case
Very flexible and configurable to your needs. Very good cooling with all the fan options if you use multiple fans for push pull cooling. Well made and looks great with some RGB fans. Takes a little time to decipher the instructions for some features on the first build but once you understand the design it's easy and even easier on the second one you build. I really like this case. ... show more

  • Absolutely amazing to back since the PC-60!
The media could not be loaded. Computer have gone a long way! Haven't owned a Lian Li since the PC 60! Installing the GPU Upright kit is a nightmare if you already have everything installed. I suggest doing it before everything else, including installing the PSU afterwards. Cable management is all confined to the read center piece allowing you to conceal a web of messes. The only real co plaint with installing the upright GPU is this simply. The entire hole for the top cable management to hide others becomes fully occupied by a PCI-E Riser cable. Expect outstanding ambient air drops on your gpus backplate, don't install the panel that is used to mount addition ssds and the GPU upright, use that space for fans! I'm using the Artic P12 aRGBs mostly in this case. Besides for the radiator for my EVGA RTX 3080 XC3 Hybrid Water Cooler as seen hiding the tubing the front. I also installed mostly pressure dynamic fans because their cfm is rated above 40 and they're pushing air harder through all components and radiators throughout the case. I did notice a negative 10 degree celiua drop on my CPU loads! It's throttling between 35-40 standard, 50 C gaming on ultra with and performance boosts no oc. 70 c under stress testing. Great thermal dynamics with Artic products throughout the case. As for the GPU. Wow!!! 28 under no Boost locking, 30-40 gaming water cooled. Amazing case. ... show more

  • I love this case!
i used this for my first PC build. Couldn't be any happier with it than I already am. I have a CPU liquid cooler, NZXT motherboard, Nvidia 4070 GPU, 10 cooling fans, and room to spare. This case gives me plenty of options for any future upgrades. The room for cable management is great too. Plenty of room for everything out of site. ... show more

  • One of the best - still
I now have three Lian Li cases (the first from 2015). And while they're not inexpensive, you get what you pay for: a high quality, attractive (imo) case with excellent air flow. Each subsequent design/model improves on the past. The Evo certainly does. It is a smaller case, between the Mini and Dynamic sizes, that still provides ample room for Atx builds. I'm using the reverse feature (glass side on right) so that I can see my stuff. No issues. Stuff this case with seven Lian Li fans plus a 360 aio cooler and you add another $300, but it sure is pretty! ... show more

  • Expectations exceeded
Great case!! Can get a little expensive if you go for Lian li fans but it’s worth it, case is well build, easy to build in and looks amazing. Haven’t found any negative so far!!

  • It needs to come with more things
Like: Size, AIO installation options, Cable Management, and Presence. Dislike: This Case should have all kits with it. It is a $160-200 case. All those kits are hard to get and the Upright for $100-120? What are you thinking? I can almost buy another case with that amount of money. Specially when it doesn't come with any fans. If they really want to get more sales, step up your game with adding those kits. Additionally, it should come with three fan bracket, instead of two. That way you are able to installed fans on the top, bottom and side. But they want you to buy the Front Fan Bracket for $30-50, unbelievable. I installed the bottom without the bracket and used a 4’ zip tie; it works like a champ. Overall: It is Great Case. But it needs all those additional kits and fans brackets or RGB Fans. ... show more

  • Great case, however....
Great case for building an aesthetic PC, however, the USB ports from the case do not work at the same time after a year. I am just able to use 1 port out of the 3 at the same time.
