We got these for my grandma to try out before she commits to $300+ ones from her doctor. These are actually pretty good! It’s easy for her to use and she says she hears better with them. I tried it on myself and it amplifies sounds, kind of like a microphone and speaker. It can sometimes screech a high pitched sound if you move the volume dial too fast. That is pretty uncomfortable but once my grandma found the perfect volume for her she doesn’t need to change it often. I think for the price it’s really good, we weren’t sure what to expect so we are pleased. She’s happy with them and isn’t embarrassed to wear them. She said she is more embarrassed when she doesn’t hear others so this is great for her. ... show more

This is an excellent product, works perfectly and adjusts well. Charges easily while in a clam shell style case. The cover slips over the two hearing pieces in the photo and it can fit easily in a pocket or purse. Best also is it’s not easy to lose when wearing as the loop rests over the ear when hearing piece is inserted. (Hard to find those little ones as a family member lost a $1300 one). I use these to supplement my kirkland pair that only has 13 hrs. I like the kirkland for thoue late night computer streaming because the connection to bluetooth is great. BUt to make it late night, they have to take a break. So these. they work very well, much better than expected. I can converse, listen to radio in car -- better then kirkland-- and they are great in many environments. Dishes tapping agianst the sink, things like that, or someone talking loudly to help me hear , these things can be cannons in my ear. Especially high sounds. but these are not usual, just very uncomfortable when they happen. I would definitely buy again and am generally surprisingly happy with these hearing aids. ... show more

I purchased these hearing aids for my mom who is 75 years old and Medicare doesn't cover enough for hearing aids for her to be able to afford them. Well, we have tried 4 different sets and these were by far the best option! After trying some that squealed constantly in her ears, some that would not stay comfortably and securely in her ears, she was very please with this set. They came with several size earpieces which worked perfectly because her ear openings are both different sizes. She felt that they were secure and that she would feel if one were to fall out so it wouldn't get lost and best of all, SHE COULD HEAR!     • Good value for the price—but carefully read and follow the directions!
After injury to my hearing (not good to begin with) I needed something to assist my hearing enough to communicate with other people during the three months I am waiting for my ENT appointment so a doctor can tell me what features I need for full range of hearing and filtering out background noises. I decided on this one after studying Amazon. reviews for this and similar products. for a temp in the meantime. I have followed the product user manual carefully to get accustomed to the unit and for my hearing to learn to disregard background noises and just started wearing it for long periods of time. It takes some learning to adjust the volume controls in different milieu, but I am very pleased with the level of hearing assistance assistance and I now hear enough to understand most of what others are saying around me instead of feeling increasingly cut off as before. It performs much better than I ever expected from a unit this cost. It comes very nicely packaged with clear directions (don’t skip reading and following them if you want it to work as the manufacturer claims).. The only issue I have is it says to register the warranty and return it to manufacturer, as well as to contact them for repairs but there is absolutely no information enclosed to identify the manufacturer, where to register or return the unit—no names, address, phone number or website! ... show more
