After having played around with the Kshioe photography lighting kit, I am very pleased with the set. It is very complete and will satisfy the needs of most amateur to intermediate photographers. Honestly, it was like Christmas in July opening the box and finding all the goodies inside. I had an issue with a missing piece and the vendor was very responsive in getting it to me.     • Seem To Be OK BUT one was broken
It is a decent set of lights, I agree with the person that said the cloth is very light and flimsy, how ever I only use it to get the color behind my subject then use Photoshop to mask out my subject. The only complaint I have is that one of the plastic umbrella light bracket does not work. I tried writing to the company but Amazon wrote me back right away and said that their email came back. ?? I am hoping if the company monitors this review that they can get in touch so I can get a replacement for the broken light. ... show more

I am very happy with my purchase and with the Customer Service team at Kshioe. Recently I decided to do more in-studio work and looking for a professional kit to get me going. After considering the many options on Amazon, I thought this one was the best for the price. It has A LOT of things - so this was important for me since I am still learning! Items arrived packaged well. The lights and stands were very easy to set up. One of the stands did arrive damaged but Customer Service was very courteous and prompt to replace the item quickly (within 3 days). The backdrops do need to be ironed as they arrived folded with creases which is understandable but I have to say I am very pleased with my purchase and will consider purchasing more items from Kshioe based on their great products and Customer Service. ... show more

(Disclaimer: ring light and camera tripod were mine, they do not come in this package) I am a Tik Tok creator and wanting to upgrade my equipment i found this package of studio equipment. I was unsure about it, but in all honesty it's a pretty solid pack for beginners. The stands are a bit cheep but functional and they do exactly what they're supposed to. I've been using this set for about a month or so now and it's done WONDERS for the quality of my videos and Instagram pictures (Like seriously... They look studio grade 😍). The lights are amazing and work exactly as they should, the backdrop stand is a bit short but was easily fixable with two tote boxes, especially since the backdrop reaches far enough down to cover it (as you can see in picture 1). However, my one complaint is the quality of the backdrops. They are an incredibly cheep material and just by trying to move it so it would drape properly one time, my thumb litterelly went through it and they are very creased from the packaging. This is extremely easy to remedy however by just going to your local thrift store, buying a king sized white and king sized black (or green depending on what you need) sheet and using that instead. It won't reach as far but it'll be much better quality (that's what I did for my white backdrop eventually (no pictures)). So would I spend the money? Honestly, yeah, if you're gonna use all the stuff in the pack, I say do it. Looking back I should've probably bought a smaller pack, however, it's always nice to have verity and extra bulbs and such if I need it. Plus I'm in so many things where I could borrow people the stuff i don't use. So I'd so go for it, it's worth the money, especially for newbies to portrait photography and Tik Tok (though not sure it's wide enough for landscape sized video or photography). ... show more

This is my first self tape lighting kit and for the most part it works as expected. The lights I really like and I think is where the most value for my money was spent. The backdrop frame is not sturdy at all and the color backdrops are like paper. I wish blue had come with it because I had to buy a separate blue backdrop. What I'm most disappointed in is the clips. These things are super cheap. I've only had the product for a month or so and all the clips are damaged. I'm going to have to buy new ones. If it wasn't for the clips, I would recommend as a starter kit, but the cheapness of those makes this a product I would say skip and find something better or buy everything separately. ... show more
