LOVE these time-saving french tips! I chose the tips where the little well underneath is also opaque so it doesn't show through the clear gel. I did use a builder gel to create a thicker, stronger, more seamless foundation, making sure to cure with every layer. I'll definitely try the gravity trick next time. And prep work with my cuticles, a dehydrator, and buffing I'm finding out helps with longevity! You can tell in my pics when I had cuticle oil and when I didn't lol. It really makes a difference. And these nails are Not budging. I've had them almost two weeks now, and I haven't been careful with my nails! Would definitely get more to create an easy, classic, french nail look. I am new to doing my own nails and am experimenting with polygel. I have a small nail bed with a "schmedium" curve. So, using dual forms was always a mess with disappointing results. I then started to use the nail guide stickers, but also was a hassle for keeping everything in place. So, my next option to prevent from wasting any more of my product were nail tips. I was searching for something to get partial cover and a straight nail. These gave a slight ballerina shape, but nothing I couldn't work with and new they were advertised as coffin. When trying to size them to my tiny nail beds, I had to file them down a little. This task is much easier using a nail drill on low speed to get it to shape better. I used a cheap nail glue from Walmart and glued them on as instructed at a slight angle. This made my polygel application wayyyyy easier because I didn't have to worry too much about the shape of the nail being even, and just focus on getting it smooth and even at the base of my nail and cuticle walls.     • Short Tips are VERY SHORT!!

I like my tips short because I'm really hard on my nails. But for anyone else these might be a little too short. I've taken three photos. Top photo is completely finished with dipping powder and painted. Bottom left is after I have put acrylic dipping powder and filed them smoothly. Bottom right is after I have glued the tips on my nails. In this picture you can tell how short they really are. I would suggest using a little more glue than the salon professionals use. I also put a small line layer of glue on the tip & nail (where they meet) after it was attached to my nail. As I stated I'm really hard on my nails and this gives them a stronger hold on my nails. The numbers attached were an added bonus to have an easy grip and holding in place until the nail glue dried and were easily to remove with the nail trimmer and then filed that area with a few quick strokes to make smooth with the rest of the edge of the tip. I ended up using only 4 sizes for all 5 fingers so I'll be reordering them again when I run out. I would highly recommend these nails as they aren't flimsy.
