  • Works Great
The contractor who built my house never cut or installed the ends on my Coax runs. This kit worked great to do it myself.

  • Gets the job done
Purchsed to finished wiring around my house (10+ outlets). By no means expect pro qualiy tools and would not recommend for a big job. Did not come with the instructions, but some relavent YouTube videos did the trick. Satisfied with the quality and price compared to tools / connectors cost at local hardware store. ... show more

  • Easy to use, though instructions would have helped
This is a nice set. The only problem was that it didn't come with any instructions, but there's a ton of videos online showing how to use it. I still gave it a 5 because I've used it for a few different cables and it just works so easy.

  • No Instructions
Be aware there are no instructions on how to operate theses' units, there is a video with music but no step by step instructional audio you can use. So unless you are already versed in how to use these tools you might need to look elsewhere for your need. Good tools if you know what slot you need to put your cable in and how to adjust the crimper to secure the cable end to the cable properly ... show more

  • Decent Mid-level tool.
Typical Mid-level tool for consumer or light commercial use. Good price-point for the quality. I hate spending the big money on the "Name". Sometimes you can't avoid it, but in this case it does what a typical installer with little issue. The included stripper is of low quality, but serves it's purpose as well. Not sure what the single Phillips screwdriver is for, but hey, it's included for the same price as just the compression tool alone! ... show more

  • Decent kit for a fair price. But Quality is Lacking
I bought this kit for a custom run of RG6 coaxial cable from my satellite dish to my TV. It ended up working well, but there was one issue. One of the included connectors was not threaded, so I went through the process of crimping it on but was not able to connect it to anything. Thankfully I had enough slack I could just cut off the last couple inches of cable and start again. But make sure you double check the threads for all of your connectors. ... show more

  • Installed 2 Cable Connectors--Even Without Directions >>>Find Videos On YouTube<<<
So far I've successfully installed 2 coax cable connectors. Since no directions were included, I also ruined a connector before I got the tool adjusted by trial and error. I've had some experience in making cables, but this is the first time I've used compression connectors. I trust only minor adjustments will be needed in the future. The cable preparation tool (which cut the cable jacket) was easy to use and worked as expected. The zippered case that holds the tools and ends is convenient since it keeps everything together until another cable must be terminated. It appears this kit will do the job for which it was designed. However, some directions, as well as additional markings on the tools would make the task less prone to error. Before I terminate more cables, I'll search YouTube for "compression tool for coax cable" to watch appropriate videos. ... show more
